Anne and Sasha being matchmakers
You knocked on the door, smiling and waiting for someone to open it.
You were going to a sleepover at Anne's house, which was exciting and nerve wracking at the same time.
On the one hand, you got to hang out with your friends, but on the other....
You had a feeling Anne and Sasha were gonna try play matchmaker with you and Marcy.
Which was great, mainly because you had the biggest crush on Marcy and had liked you since first grade, and you were know in sixth grade.
But you felt like they were going to embarrass you a lot.
After what felt like forever, Anne opened the door. "Y/n! Come on in, we're just waiting for Sasha to show up."
"Geez, can she be on time for anything these days?" You said, referring to the many times she had been late for class and hangouts recently.
"I don't really know," Anne said, signalling for you to follow her up the stairs.
You ran up the stairs and beat her to her room, rushing inside to see Marcy playing on her Nintendo switch.
You un-slung the sleepover bag from your shoulders, pink tinting your cheeks from seeing Marcy.
You went behind her and tapped her shoulder. "Hey Mar-Mar!"
She looked up and immediately turned off her Nintendo switch. "N/n!" She attacked you with a hug.Anne came in to see you two hugging, and gave you a knowing look with a smirk.
You did your signature death glare at her.
She looked between the two of you, and then a knock was heard on the door.
You let go of the hug, assuming Sasha was finally here.
You rushed down the stairs to see her, Marcy following.
"Hey girls!" Sasha waved happily, rushing up the stairs.
You all hung out in Anne's room, just talking about what was happening in your personal lives.
Anne smirked as an idea popped into her head. "What about we play a classic game of truth or dare?"
Sasha smirked as she realized what she was doing. "I'm in, what about you two?""You're playing a dangerous game, you two," You sent them a glare. "But I'll play. I want to see where this goes. Marbles, what about you?"
"Uh," Marcy thought for a moment, tilting her head in your way in thought. "I don't know."
"Aw c'mon Mar-Mar! You're no fun!" Sasha did a sad face."Well she doesn't have to play if she doesn't want too," You pointed out, wrapping a protective arm around her.
Marcy blushed momentarily, before straightening her posture. "Actually, I'll give it a shot."
"Okay, I'll go first, Y/n truth or dare?" Sasha looked your way, a mischievous look on her face. You unwrapped your your arm from around Marcy, and smirked. "Truth."
Sasha made a sound of disapproval, before her face lit up with an idea. "What is your sexuality?"
She thought you'd be too embarrassed to admit it."I'm as straight as a french curve ruler," You said back.
Sasha choked on air, Anne looked at you with wide eyes and Marcy just shrugged like this was normal.
"So, what is your sexuality?" Anne asked to clarify.
"Still figuring that out," You replied.
You kept playing, and eventually it was nighttime.
"Are you guys ready to watch war of the warlocks?" Marcy asked excitedly.
Sasha had her head buried into her phone. "Yeah sure whatever."
"Alright," Anne said, getting herself comfy."Hell yeah!" You said, matching her tone of voice more.
Marcy smiled at your enthusiasm. At least you still care, N/n
You began watching the movie, and by the end as always, Anne and Sasha were asleep.
It saddened you to always see her sad face by the end of the movie, looking at the two girls asleep.
There was so much sadness, it always broke your heart.
"I'll go grab my bag from downstairs," You told her as the credits rolled.
You rushed down the stairs and picked up the bag, walking back up the stairs, when all of a sudden, you heard crying.
You opened the door and saw Marcy squatted down, crying her eyes out, muttering something about "Not being enough."
You immediately opened the door, dropped the bag and ran over to her.
Your first instinct was to wrap her arms around her, so that's what you did.
She looked up, locking eyes with you.
"O-Oh, you heard that, didn't you?"
You nodded."That's e-embarrassing," She sniffled, her face slightly puffy and a few tears still streaming down her face.
You placed your hand on her cheek and wiped away a few of her tears. "Don't ever say that about yourself again, okay? You will always be enough." You grabbed her hand in both of yours and brought it off the ground. "At least to me."
She blushed, and moved closer to you.You began to lean in, wrapping your arms around her neck.
You stopped. What if this ruins our friendship? What if things are never the same? What if-
Marcy seemed to read your mind and closed the gap.
The natural movement in the kiss made you both flustered.
You pulled away. "Marcy Wu, will you go out with me?"
She nodded, smiling. "Yes."
You wrapped your arms around her, and you were both so tired, that you both pretty much immediately fell asleep.I
