"I love you."

The hot water of the shower hitting my skin feels amazing. Shota suggested that we should shower, since we're both covered in sweat. I agreed and that's the story of how we're now showering together.

Shota washed and conditioned my hair, which felt wonderful. He made sure that when he made me rinse out all the products that there was no soap getting in my eyes. In return, I washed and conditioned his hair as well. And he'll never admit it, but having me clean his scalp and using my nails to really get in there, makes chills go down his spine.
After both of our hair was cleaned and conditioned, Shota washed our bodies. I wanted to wash his, because I just love rubbing soapy bubbles across his strong thighs, but he didn't allow me because of my back. What he did allow me to do was watch him spreading those soapy bubbles all across his skin.

The moment Shota wanted to rinse off all those bubbles though, his phone went off. This confused the both of us, because who'd be calling Shota at four in the afternoon on a friday? Shota got out of the shower, still covered in those soapy bubbles and answered the call on speaker phone. I never made a point out it, answering his phone on speaker while I'm near him, but he always does it anyways. Whenever I ask him about it, he ignores the question.

"Yes?" Shota asks the person on the other line. The water of the shower is still running with me underneath it, enjoying the warmth, yet I can hear the conversation clearly. We have a walk-in shower, in which a lot of 'fun' activities have taken place. But don't tell Mic that, because he refuses to use the guest bathroom whenever he's coming over.

"Hey, have you seen the news?" I hear Mic's voice ego through the bathroom, which isn't something I was expecting. On the other hand, Mic is the only one crazy enough to call Shota at this time of day... Or at all.

"No. Why?" Shota asks, before turning towards me. His eyes travel from the top of my head down to my toes and back up, taking in every single naked inch of me infront of him. He has seen it countless of times, on purpose and by accident, yet the sight of me naked infront of him never seems to get boring to him.

"The entire Hero Community is going nuts." Mic says, catching my attention. I frown, not really knowing why that would be happening right now. "Almost all heroes that are working have put down their work, refusing to work when Y/n is not the head of her department." Mic explains and my eyes widen. Shota looks at my reaction, not knowing what do say or do. "Endeavor and Hawks were the first ones to put down their work, which was right after you left to go and check up on Y/n. Since then, almost every hero has followed their example."

It's safe to say that this weekend took an unexpected turn.

Not only did most Pro Heroes put down their work, refusing to pick it back up intill I return to my position, but also HC employees are following the Pro Heroes' examples.
Yes, you read that right. Almost all heads of departments at the HC are putting their work to a halt, not wanting to continue intill justice has been served. And that caused for HC employees below the head of departments not to have any work, since the heads  give their departments the work and tasks they need to do.

Shota's phone was going off none stop with people calling him, begging him to try and convince me to return to my position. And not only Pro Heroes called my husband to beg him for my return, but also worried parents of some of his students called him.
But my phone wasn't silent either. No, my phone recovered from the crash, but it nearly crashed again because of all those damn calls. I didn't answer any of the calls, not wanting them to get a hold of me. There is one way they can get me to answer my phone and return to my position as the head of the Department of Hero Lisences, and everyone knows what that way is.
