my name is alexandra cameron. formerly known as alexandra routledge.
this is the story of my life. specifically my love ... with rafe cameron.
as i tell our story, my person is gone. i sit with our children and long for his return knowing it is not possible.
thinking back on our time together brings me an assortment of emotions.
i occasionally go back to the outer banks and i no longer find the happiness that once had kept me there. the pain that comes back with those young summer memories was enough to make me leave.
i replay those memories as my children live on there own with their families.
as i grow older i find comfort and peace with sharing the journey that brought me to where i am now.
i have made the journey back to my old home at the chateau as i sit in the rocking chair my father made when my twin, john b, and i were were just 13.
this is the place that i will begin to write the story of passion and pain that is called my life.
