Note:
Kairi was 5 months old last chapter and still is. They are bringing her home in this chapter.

~Dan's POV~
"And this is your new home, Kairi." I said, walking into our home. Phil had a few things that Cassie had given us. Kairi was asleep in the carrier that was given to us.

Phil went upstairs to the office room, which is now Kairi's, and went to set up. I'm sure he'll be fine.

"Um Dan... What the heck am I doing?" Phil asked, the crib falling apart. I laugh a little. "Let me call Louise and she can possibly help or watch Kairi as we try to build it." I suggest as Phil quickly shakes his head yes. I texted Louise, who should be here soon with Darcy.

I sat on the couch playing with Kairi's hands. It's crazy how small a baby is. It's crazy how a human being is made. It's crazy how I have a daughter with my loving best friend and boyfriend, Phil Lester.

Kairi goos and I laugh.

"Now. I'm going to teach you my ways of being pretty cool. Your daddy will teach you how to be innocent. I hope I don't rub the existential crisis on you. If so, we shall lay on the floor together and question life." I joked a little, hearing Phil laugh and then screamed a little because he is still trying to build the crib.

There's a knock on the and I went to open it.

"Hi Dan!" Louise hugs me as I had Kairi in my arms. "Now let me hold the baby." I handed her Kairi and Kairi looks up at her.

"This is Kairi." I tell Louise. Darcy tugged on my shirt.

"I want to see the baby." Darcy says and I picked her up, letting her see the baby. "Hi KaKa. I'm Darcy." Louise and I smiled and then we went to see Phil. We stayed in the room as Louise helped around.

"When you're my age, my mummy and I will take you to the shops to get clothes. We can also get cupcakes! My mummy gets these kind from a good place." Darcy was talking to Kairi and I smiled at how adorable it way. Darcy would be an amazing big sister if Louise ever has another baby. "I'm sure Kairi would love to do that when she's older." I tell Darcy.

"Alrighty! All done. I'm glad you guys called me. You obviously had no clue what you were doing." Louise told us and Phil sheepishly looks at Louise and then at me.

"It was Phil. But thank you to much." Soon Kairi starts to cry and I tried to quiet her down.

"Shh...." I silently said and bounced her a little bit. She cries even louder.

"Maybe Phil should try to hold her." Louise suggested. "I remember Darcy was like this at times."

"Me? No no no no no. I'll hurt her. I'm not ready." Phil starts to freak out and I kiss him to calm him down, holding our daughter in my arms who is still crying. "You won't hurt her. Now Louise and I will teach you how to hold her." I soothed him and he nods.

~Phil's POV~
I'm excited to hold Kairi, but also afraid. I didn't want to hurt her at all. During all my thinking, I listened to Dan as he calmed me down. When I said I was ready, Louise taught me on how to hold Kairi. How my arms should be and how I need to support her head.

"Now I'm going to hand Kairi to you. Remember to stay calm." Dan starts to hand me Kairi, and I carefully held the crying child in my arms. I held Kairi close to me and supported her head.

She continues to cry and I tried to sing a song to her. Even though my singing isn't great, she starts to quiet down and her green eyes looked right at me. A smile appeared on her face and I smiled too.

"See. I told you you can do it." Dan said and I smiled at my boyfriend.

Boyfriend... That feeling makes me all warmed up inside. Ever since I asked him to be my boyfriend. I warm up even more inside knowing we have our own family together, hopefully to have more children.

The next couple hours, Louise talked to us about baby things and even had a bag of Darcy's old baby clothes. We thanked her a lot. She honestly didn't have to do that for us.

"Well we have to go. It's getting late. Darcy is hanging out with her daddy tomorrow for a week. So I need to pack a few things of hers." Louise said after we gotten Kairi to sleep in her crib. "Aw. We wish you two don't have to leave. It's fun having you two over." I said. "We'll be back soon. But congrats on the baby. You two will be amazing fathers." Louise gave us both a hug, and we hug her back. Darcy ran to is and hug our legs.

"Bye Dan. Bye Phil." She says.

I squat down to hug her and said bye.

Soon the two left and I looked at Dan.

"I think we did good for our first day as parents." I smiled. "We're going to be bad ass parents." Dan laughs. "But no swearing around her, Dan. She's to young." I covered his mouth. "What? She's asleep. Also she won't understand what I'm saying." I rolled my eyes.

"This is going to be a fun adventure." I told him.

"A fun adventure we're doing as a family." Dan hugs me and I hugged him tightly.
