Six

~Dan's POV~
"No Phil, we're not having a lion cake at our wedding." I groan as I said it for the last time. He pouts and looks at Kairi. "Do you think it should be a lion?" He asked. "Rawr." Our 10 1/2 month old said. I roll my eyes. "Why not a blue and black cake. Video game theme?" I suggest. "Video game theme seems pretty cool." Phil said. "That's an idea. Now can we go to Louise's? I think Zoe and Alfie are going also." I said, putting the papers filled with ideas in this binder. "Yup! But I need to put Kairi in her outfit." Phil picked her up and went to her bedroom.

While he was getting her dressed, I took a photo of the binder and posted it on Instagram saying, "Did some wedding planning with the future husband. Kairi helped also. Now it's time to go see Louise, Darcy, Zoe and Alfie." Usually I don't post this kinda of stuff, but everyone knows we're engaged and I'm so excited.

"Now we're ready to go!" Phil walked to me as he held Kairi. She was wearing a shirt that said "I have two of the best daddies in the world!" and had a cute little skirt with it. "Cute. Now let's go." I smiled. We got her stroller and went outside. I put Kairi in her stroller as we got outside and I pushed it while we walked to the tubes. We got looks of course, but I grabbed Phil by his hips and kissed him in front of them. Kairi giggles every time we do that.

After going through the tubes and all that crap, we got to Louise's house. "Give me the child." Louise said as we walked in. "We just got here and you're trying to steal our kid?" Phil said. "Yup." She said and takes Kairi out of the stroller. "Well then." Phil crossed his arms. "Dan! Phil!" Zoe gives us a big hug. "Congrats you two! On the engagement." Zoe smiled so big. "Thank you, Zoe! I think it's Alfie's turn now." I laughed. Alfie looked at me. "What. It is." I said.

We all sat on the couch and played games. Instead, I was playing with Kairi and Darcy.

"Dan. Why do you love Phil?" Darcy asked. "Well... He saved me. He's my first actually friend. My best friend actually. I have loved him for so long. His smile. His eyes. His laugh. Everything about him. Because of him, I know true love is true." I said. "Like Disney princesses with their prince. But you and Phil are princes." Darcy said. "Yea. I guess it is." I smiled.

"Dada." Kairi says and I look at her. She's holding onto the table as she stood up. "Phil... Phil... Baby... lion! I think Kairi is trying to walk." I freaked out and got my phone out to record. "What!?" And he quickly sat down next to me. Kairi smiles and giggles. She starts to talk little steps towards us.

"Guys! Look at Kairi. She's walking." I can hear Zoe and Alfie talk because they're vlogging.

"Come on, baby doll. Come to daddy." I said. "Sexual much, Daniel." Louise jokes. "Louise." I laughed. Kairi started to go just a tad faster and got over to me and Phil. She then fell into Phil's arms. I got it all recorded on my phone and I was actually crying.

"Good job, Kairi!" Phil looks at her and she just smiled really big. She then tries to get out of Phil's arms and walks to Zoe. "Zo zo!" Kairi puts her arms up, and Zoe picks her up. "Guys! That was Kairi's first steps. I bet your daddies are really proud." Zoe said and points her camera at us.

"Very." Phil said. "Yay Kairi!" Darcy claps. Kairi claps too and tried to grab Zoe's camera. "I think she wants to vlog." Zoe held the camera in her hand as Kairi tried to also. But she then tried to put the lens in her mouth. "And that's a way to tell she's hungry." Phil grabbed the baby bag and got her snacks. Kairi squeals when she saw them, reaching out for them. Phil passed it to me and I passed it to Zoe. "Strawberries and bananas!" She said and Kairi smiled. Zoe fed her them and Phil brings me onto his lap.

"I love you." He tells me. "You tell me that a million times a day." I laugh. "It's true." He said. "Well I love you too." I peck his lips and looked at Zoe. Her and Alfie were playing with Kairi, so was Louise and Darcy. "You know... Zoe is pregnant." Phil told me. "What! Really? Does Alfie know? Louise?" I reacted quickly. "Louise knows. Alfie doesn't right now." I smiled and saw Zoe looking at me. "Congrats." I mouthed to her and she nods at me and smiled.

~Phil's POV~
"Now before you three go, here's some more of Darcy's old baby clothes. I'm sure they can fit Kairi." Louise hands us a bag and we thank her. "Also... Tell Zoe to tell Alfie that's she's preggers by doing the whisper challenge. It'll be hilarious." I whispered. "Of course. Now you three get going." Louise smiled. We hug her goodbye and walked out.

When we got home, I put Kairi's stroller up and Dan went to give her a bath. I stared at my engagement ring and smiled. I still can't believe it. Me and my best friend. My soulmate. My bear.

"Phil you're still in the same spot I left you 20 minutes ago. Kairi is ready for bed and wants kisses from daddy." Dan said, holding a sleepy Kairi in his arms. "Sorry I was thinking. But time for bed baby girl." Dan hands me Kairi and we go to her bedroom. I place her in the crib and give her kisses on the forehead.

"I love you." I said "aboo." She says, her way of saying 'I love you'. "I love you too, Kairi." Dan gives her kisses and she lays down.

"Night, sweetie." And we close her door.
