( Ashley's pov)
Sidney,Tatum and me were all sitting on Tatum's bed in night shirts. Tatum tried to cheer us up as well as she could and I appreciated her for it.
" God I loved it." Tatum started talking.
"I'll send you a copy." She mimicked Gale Weathers. " BAM! Bitch went down." " I'll send you a copy." She said again. " BAM! Sid--SuperBitch" .
We all laughed.
Dewey appeared in the doorway holding a bag of ice.
" I thought you might want some ice for that right hook." He said, handing Sidney the bag of ice as she put it on her hand.
" I'll be right next door, try to get some sleep." Dewey smiled before leaving and closing the doors.
" Just another sleepover at the Riley's." I say as i lay down.
" Just like old times, isn't it?" Tatum smiled.
" No, nothing's like it used to be." Sidney said, sighing.
The telephone rings somewhere in the house.
" Do you really think Billy did it?" Tatum asked Sidney and i sighed.
" No he did no-
" He was there Tatum." Sidney interrupted me and i gave her a stare.
" I knew this guy was too perfect. He was destined to have a flaw." Tatum spoke, completely ignoring my statement.
" Will you guys stop?" I said, they both looked at me.
" Stop accusing my boyfriend without any proof, it hurts." I said and Tatum apologized but Sidney stayed silent.
Someone knocked on the door. It was Dewey's and Tatum's mother.
" Telephone dear." She smiled.
" Who is it?" Tatum asked.
" Its for Ash." Her mother answered and i raised my eyebrows in confuse as i got up.
" My dad?" I asked as i went to the phone.
Tatum's mom shakes her head sadly.
I grab the phone at the end of the hall.
" Hello?" I say.
" Hello Ashley."The voice from earlier said, my whole body goes weak.
" No!" I yell out, Tatum, her mother and Sid rush towards me.
" Poor Billy. An innocent guy doesn't stand a chance with you." The voice said.
" Leave me alone." I tried to fight away tears.
" Looks like your sister fingered the wrong guy again."
" Who are you?" I asked, sniffing.
" Hang up Ash." I heard Tatum whisper.
" Don't worry. You'll find out soon enough. I promise." The voice said.
Tatum's mother bangs on Dewey's door calling out for him.
" Dewey! Dewey!"
" This is gonna be fun Ashley. Just like the old times." The man chuckles before a click could be heard.
Dewey flies out of his room wearing only his boxers and a white shirt, holding a gun.
" What? What?" He jumped.
The phone goes dead. I stay frozen.
[ THE NEXT MORNING ]
Tatum, Sidney and I sit at the kitchen table, dressed and ready for school as Tatum and Dewey's mom was serving breakfast.
Dewey, in uniform, stands near the door, talking on the phone.
