A new day
A different hope
A fresh smile
As I roam around

Like a spring,
As the flower blooms,
I couldn't help but sing
Despite the sky so gloom
Can't ruin my bubble
Another day to assume
That she won't like another
.
A smile draw unto my face
As you come into sight, I immediately race
Don't care about the stares, nobody really cares
Despite the crowds, I can spot you even behind the clouds
.
For every smile
I can imagine it even in a mile
For every touch
I'm scared that my skin is too rough
For everything you say
Overthinking that there's a meaning in every way
.
"Your eyes are beautiful", she said out of the blue
You're far more beautiful
"I love how it sparkles"
You're the reason it sparkles
.
"I love your smile", I said
"Thank you", she replied
I love how it makes my day better
"I like you!"
The smile on my face vanished
How can you say something so easily, like it doesn't matter
.
"I like you too", I said and stare
Yet you just smile so innocently
It was hard to bare
How can you make me feel such perplexity?

Doubts are coming on my way
Do you like me that way?
I want to ask
But scared of the moment it would unmask
I don't want to know
I refuse to let go
I don't want to finish the show
