-imperial soldiers/rebels

The monarchy is really corrupt but they do a good job at hiding it. The people who join the rebels are usually former employees that work directly under the monarchy (eg. Toya, Rui, Kaito) but saw the atrocities
However, the rebels are not as they seem...
Our two major characters:
Kamishiro Rui:
Former court mage for the king
He used to have a bodyguard(this is important)
Majority of the story will be told in his POV
He used to have a friend who was killed by the monarchy
His memory was wiped because of a curse when he got exiled, all he remembers is that the monarchy killed his friend
Joined the rebels

Has a house in the woods
Tenma Tsukasa:
Current general of the assault platoon and acting head dragon tamer
Did not fully pledge his loyalty to the kingdom, but chooses to be a knight anyway because a. He alreadt finished his traning and B. A lot of kids look up to him
This is because his sister and surrogate brother went missing under their rule
Knows where Toya is
Knows who Rui is
Resents the royal family
Possibly not human👀
