Vikram glanced at the numbers before him and grunted under his breath. There was no way they were accepting those terms. Today was the last negotiation meeting for the merger of both their hotel chains. While most of the negotiations were complete, there were a few assets that needed to be taken care of.
"42% with the property in Agra." He heard her lawyer say.
His lawyer leaned over to discuss it with him. There was a long way to go before either sides made a sensible offer.
"Let's cut to the chase because honestly, this is going nowhere." Divya spoke up.
Vikram nodded casting an appreciative glance at her open hair before forcing himself to focus on the matter at hand.
"The prenup is in place for our personal assets, so what remains is the discussion for the merger of our personal care line." She started off.
She glanced briefly at the bright note her lawyer had scribbled onto and continued, "45% with us plus 52% of the condiments company."
Vikram stared at her seeing right through what she wad trying to do.
"43% plus 49% of the condiments." He said looking straight at her.
"45% plus 51% of the condiments." She shot back at him.
Vikram sighed. This was going nowhere. They had been at it since the past 4 hours and they were making no headway.
"Let's be reasonable, Divya." he said with a shrug.
"Fine, tell you what. 43% plus 49% of the condiments and you throw in 2% of the textiles." she said asserting each point with a tap on the table.
Vikram looked at her with narrowed eyes contemplating the offer. He said something to his lawyer to which the guy nodded. He stood up, buttoning his suit and forwarded his arm, "We have a deal Ms. Rajput."

"I still haven't added Rathore to my official name, you know." she spoke into the phone during one of her calls to Karan.
"You are changing it?" she heard him ask on the other end.
"Not changing it, just adding another one." she said.
"So, why haven't you done that?"
"Because I did not feel like it before. Now, I am thinking about it."
She heard him gasp dramatically and she could swear that he had his palm clutched to his heart when he said, "Oh my God, is the princess falling?"
She rolled his eyes in silence not wanting to answer.
"I cannot see you rolling your eyes on the phone. But hey, are you falling for him?"
The truth was she did not know. It was too soon. It was confusing. They had barely begun living together. 3 months was not enough time. Granted they had known about each other since as long as she could remember. But that was different.
Before Divya could answer, a knock resounded on the door of their bedroom.
"Yes." she said fully knowing it was Vikram.
"Hi" he said sitting on the bedroom bench to slip out of his shoes.
"I will call you later. Toodles!" she said hurriedly over the phone and she could swear she hear Karan chuckle at her teasingly.
She straightened her posture and shifted towards the end of the bed where he sat.
"Let's be reasonable Divya" she quoted in the air with her eyes narrowed at him accusingly.
"What? You guys were being unreasonable." he said loosening the tie sexily.
"We weren't the only ones being unreasonable." she said crossing her arms over her chest.
He nodded sheepily. He would never admit it before her, but at the moment she spewed the deal deets to him, she looked incredibly hot to him. There was something about women who were sure of themselves. The confidence, the power, the absent need of validation. Nothing was sexier to him.
His eyes flitted to the thin golden chain that she had worn. She hadn't bothered to change out of her formal wear yet. Throughout the meeting, he had been distracted by the chain. And at the moment, he had zoned out and had no clue of what she was speaking. But the freaking thing would not let him focus elsewhere. All he wanted was to loop his finger into the chain and pull her closer for a kiss.
"Uhm, how offended would you be if I scoop you into my lap and make the hell out with you?" he said cutting her off.
Divya shut up immediately, stunned at how he decided to frame it into a question. She decided to throw another question his way.
"How offended would you be if I pull you over me and onto the bed and make the hell out with you?"
A smirk appeared on his lips and he snaked his arms around her waist, steadily pushing her against the mattress and covering her petite body with his. His fingers stroked the satin of her blouse while hers disappeared in his hair.
"It seems like I have found my match." he said, lowering his mouth on her neck leaving fluttery kisses all over before delicately tugging at the chain with his teeth that then grazed her skin. Her perfume took over his senses and he felt it drive him crazy.
Divya felt heat pool between her legs as he teased her with his teeth. One of his knees was already prying her legs apart. Divya locked her legs around his knee and pulled his face up. Her lips met his and her tongue dove in. She suckled on his tongue while her hands traveled downwards feeling his ab muscles that had tightened.
He let out a muffled groan when she nipped at the underside of her jaw. His hand made its way to her legs, slipping underneath her skirt and finally settling on her thigh. She gasped when she felt his cold hands massage the warm skin of her thighs. He met her lips once again, way more roughly this time, plundering her with his tongue. She responded with the same hunger.
He looked at her once they broke apart, their chests heaving, their cheeks flushed. And in a moment she nodded still breathing heavily. He knew what they had assented to. It was going to be a long night.
