It's been a week since Poe and I lead a mutiny. Sure he got shot by my mother and she won't let me live it down, but we left to be with our squadron. Maybe not the best idea right after we lost more than 3/4 of the resistance, but they needed us. We flew to Ikkrukk in two borrowed starfighters from Grakkus the Hutt with BB-8 and CB-23. When we arrived we helped fight the First Order and secured Grail City.

"I'm going to report back to General Organa," I hear Poe say over coms. I hear the squad confirm, and Poe disconnect.

"What's up with you and Poe," Snap asks over my coms. I sigh we'll have to tell them sometime.

"Yeah you two are acting weird," Karé agrees with her husband. CB beeps, and I roll my eyes at the droid's remark.

"What? Guy's you're going crazy," I say and I hear laughs come from my helmet.

"Are you sure you two aren't going crazy for each other?" Suralinda asks me. I laugh at her statement.

"You won't even tell your bestie?" Jess says speaking up.

"No, because there's nothing to tell," I hear her huff.

"Let's land and then we'll talk," Poe comes back on and we slowly start landing. I open the cockpit , and let CB-23 down. I jump out with my lightsaber in hand, and then check CB.

"Do you have to carry that around everywhere?" Snap says as I stand up. I turn around and hug him.

"Jedi's weapon. Can never be too careful," he chuckles and Karé comes and hugs me.

"Glad to see you," she tells me as we pull apart. I look over to Poe who is taking a look at BB-8.

"Guys," Poe calls us all over. "We are going to accept the Prime Ministers invite." Jess scoffs at this.

"Shouldn't they be happy enough that we saved their butts from the bad guys?" Jess grumbles.

"Don't you like a party, Jess?" Suralinda laughs as she asks. "I mean, I can't think of a better reason to have a drink than survival. Besides, I'd love to get a quote or something from the prime minister, something I can use to really make the story sing.

"You're writing a story?" Poe asks the question we're all wondering.

"Of course I'm writing a story," she shakes her head. "When are you going to get the hang of this public relations thing, Poe? My journalist skills are an asset to the Resistance, but only if we get our story out there. And what a story it will be with Grist praising our ragtag group of heroes saving her and the planet from the evil First Order!"

"That's not a story. That's just the truth," Jess says looking Suralinda straight in the eye. I turn my head to look at Poe who is looking at Jess.

"Of course it's the truth," Suralinda sounds annoyed. "I don't lie, Jess. I just"-Suralinda waves her hand at the air, "embellish."

Jess doesn't seem anymore impressed as she folds her arms and lets her hair fall. Oh boy, another fight. Suralinda never really had a good relationship with anyone else. She had been there plenty of times when I needed her, but she still can be a pain.

"So," Suralinda puts her hands on her hip, and I fold my arms across my chest. "Who's up for a party?"

"Pass," Jess turns away and went to her astro. "I want to check on my astromech. After what I put the little guy through..."

"Poe? Brianna? Surely you two are coming," I look at Poe and nod.

"We kind of have to. It would be rude not to..."
