Chapter 6

We meet with Yendor and everyone else on the moon. Yendor explains how we are to land. Then we take off to Ryloth. We stay close to the ground crossing the desert, and then went inside the mountain.

I take my helmet off and jump down. CB-23 was waiting for me.

"Hey girl," I said patting CB's head. BB-8 came rolling over. "Did Poe treat you good?" I ask the droid.

The little droid beeps. I laugh softly and stand up. Mom, where is she. I see her and Poe talking. R2-D2 rolls his way over to the two droids and I walk to my mom.

"Mom!" I say as I walk up to them.

She takes me in a hug. "Sweetie."

"Um," Poe clears his throat. "Shall we?"

"Of course. Come walk with us, Bria," my mother tells me. I take her arm and we begin walking.

"The two pilots there you know from Black Sauadron, Jessica Pava and Suralinda Javos. The women with them is ex-Imperial-officer Teza Nasz. They found her on RattatK after fighting in the death pits," Poe says calmly.

"Jess did what!" I speed up so that I'm in front of him.

"You have to ask her," he says.

"That warlord is ex-Imperial?" my mom asks stifling a laugh.

"So they say," Poe answers. "She was an officer in the Imperial Navy. Some sort of genius strategist involved in the Battle of Jakku, but when that went sideways for the Empire, she was assumed dead on the Ravager. Turns out..."

I zone out as I think about Jess fighting in a death pit. I smile to myself. Then zone back in.

"What's her name again?"

"Teza Nasz," he answers.

Teza turns and I see the womens face. Her animal hide-armor jumpsuit and dark skin complimented her blood red hair. She turns away.

"Who else," mom asks.

"Princess Leia?" I turn around at my mom's former title. I see Zay Versio extend a hand out to my mom. They shake hands.

"It's good to finally meet you in person, Zay." she greets the pilot. "Where's Shriv?"

"Over here," Shriv says coming over. "Good to see you again, General."

"My favorite blue dude," I say giving him a hug.

"The Jedi," he says hugging back.

"How was your mission?" mom asks him.

I walk away to go see Norra and Wedge.

"Oh, Wedge. Look who it is," Norra says getting her husband's attention.

"Well, well, well, Brianna Solo," Wedge says turning away from his son.

"Norra, Wedge," I say nodding.

Norra wraps her arms around me. I hug her back.

"You're so big, Beanie," Norra says and I look at Snap and Karé. They chuckle watching me.

I hear commotion coming from where I last saw Jess and Suralinda. Not another fight. I heard fist hit face. I turn around.

"A fight!" someone yells.

I see Teza Nasz heavily breathing and a young pilot sliding, in a line on blood, across the floor. Jess stops the woman from taking another swing, and Wedge helps him up. I rush over to Jess helping her.

"Identity yourself, pilot," I hear Poe say.

The pilot crosses his arms and flips his hair out of his face. I want to laugh, but hold it together.
