Warning: Mentions of suicide

Yesterday I had went over to my friend's house. Her mom had let me in. She told me I could just go up to her room, so I did. I knocked a few times and heard no response. I thought maybe she just didn't hear me so I opened the door and walked in. I saw her, lying there on her bed. I thought she was sleeping. I was wrong. I found out she had overdosed on pills. When I got home that day I went straight to my room and I have been there ever since. I haven't talked to anyone, I haven't really wanted to.

Y/n's mother's POV

My daughter hadn't come out since yesterday afternoon when she came out. Her friend's mother called me and told me what happened. How her daughter committed suicide. Y/n hasn't wanted to talk to me so I decided to call Noah. See if he could send Stiles over. Maybe she would talk to him.

I pulled my phone out and then called Noah. He answered the phone and asked, "Hey Y/m/n, what's up?"

"Y/n is going through something right now. She won't talk to me. I was hoping you could send Stiles over. Maybe she will talk to him," I said.

"No problem. I'll talk to him and get him to go over," Noah said.

  "Thank you Noah," I said.

"No problem," Noah said before he hung up.

Time skip, Y/n POV

I was still laying in bed when I heard a knock at my door. "Go away mom. I don't want to talk right now," I said.

"It's Stiles, not your mom," I heard Stiles say.

"Come in, I guess," I said. Stiles then opened the door and walked in. He closed the door behind him. He then walked over to my bed and sat beside me.

"What's going on Y/n? I was told something is going on," Stiles said.

"I don't want to talk about it," I said.

"I get you don't want to, but you need to. You can't just keep it in. You need to talk to someone. So that's why I'm here," Stiles said.

I sighed. "My friend committed suicide yesterday. I went over found her in bed. I thought she was just sleeping. I walked over and tried to wake her up. She was unresponsive. She had overdosed on pills," I said.

"That's terrible, I'm so sorry," Stiles said.

"I wish I had just gotten there sooner. Maybe I could have stopped her. I guess I wasn't enough for her to stay. I guess I just wasn't a good enough friend. I didn't do enough," I said.

"You shouldn't blame yourself. There's nothing you could have done. You are a great person and an amazing friend. It isn't you fault," Stiles said.

  "But," I said.

Stiles cut me off by saying, "No, no buts. It wasn't your fault. Stop blaming yourself. I'm here for you, so what do you want me to do for you?"

"Just hold me," I said. Stiles then kicked his shoes off. He laid down beside me and wrapped his arms around me. We then spent the rest of the day cuddling in my bed.
