Warning: a little bit of depressive thoughts

I was at Scott's house. Tonight the pack was having a movie night. But I was not focused on the movie. I was focusing on one gorgeous strawberry blonde, hazel eyed girl. Lydia Martin.

I have been in love with her since I first laid eyes on her in freshman year. I had been walking through the halls when  I saw her leaning against her locker. She had the biggest smile on her face. It was beautiful.

Now here I am, sitting on the couch, trying my best not to stare at Lydia. I kept stealing glances at her. I couldn't help it. I couldn't stop myself. One of the times I looked at her she looked back at me. I then quickly looked away.

Lydia walked over to me. She looked into my eyes. "Can we talk outside? " she asked me. I nodded my head and got up off of the couch. We then walked to the door. Once we reached the door, Lydia opened it and walked out. I then followed her out, closing the door behind me.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked, slightly nervous. What if she realized I couldn't keep my eyes off her? What if she realized it was because I was in love with her? What if she noticed and was going to tell me she didn't feel the same? These were the thoughts swimming through my mind.

"I noticed that you kept looking at me. I saw the look in your eyes. I was wondering if you had feelings for me. As in more than a friend, " Lydia said.

Crap. She figured it out. Was she going to reject me? Tell me she doesn't like when I look at her like that. Might as well tell her the truth. She's basically already figured it out. "Yes, I do have feelings for you, and yes as in more than a friend. And I get it if you don't feel the same way, " I said.

"Why would you think that? I do have the same feelings for you.  I have for a long time, " Lydia said.

"I just, I never thought someone as smart and as beautiful as you could like someone like me. I mean look at me. I'm no where near as beautiful as you, " I said.

Lydia cupped one of my cheeks with her hands. She looked into my eyes and said, "You are wrong. You are very beautiful. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. And I fell in love with you. And nothing can change that."

A huge smile came to my face. The girl of my dreams felt the same way I did. I was so excited. I did what I thought I would never be able to do. I kissed Lydia and she kissed me back.

After a few moments the kiss ended. Though it was only a few moments, it felt like it lasted hours. I had a huge grin on my face and Lydia had one to match. "I love you, " she said to me.

"And I love you, " I said.
