- I'm sorry for the last chapter, believe me I'm just as eager to get to a confrontation between those two as you are but I need something to live on for a while so I write on.
THANK YOU FOR 600 READS! (at this point I'm coming home to an extra 100+ reads everyday and I don't even know what to do with myself)
Make sure to drink water and don't question questionable things in this story. Happy reading :) -

Hunter and I still hadn't really talked yet. And boy it sucked.
Even by the time we were waiting at the bus stop for the first day of human school we hadn't spoken to each other.
And it was completely my fault. I kept trying to push down my feelings to the best of my ability but sometimes I just couldn't do it.
Luz also told us that because Hunter was a year older, he was going to have less classes with us because we were fresh-women and he was a soft s'more or whatever she said.
When we got on the bus we bumped shoulders. We both ignored it.
When we walked into the front entrance we brushed hands. We both ignored it.
When we got seated next to each other in one of the two classes we had together. We ignored it.
We were just ignoring each other. From the outside, it looked as if we were complete strangers.
But I didn't have a lot of time to talk to him anyway. I needed to adjust to the human school. I had a piece of paper of all the weird things I had to keep in mind that stayed in my pocket all day.
Willow's list of human reminders.
-The lockers do not try to eat me or my things. Locker code: 31-9-45
-The bell does not scream at me. It just makes a strange sound. Try not to attack it like you did the alarm clock.
-Human's do not have bile sacks, please do not try to say that in health class.
-9th grade math seems so useless. Why do I need to measure the sphere?
-Sports that do not exist in the human realm: Flyer derby, Grudgby, Fire golf, Attack mice, boiling swimming, toe ball.
-Luz advises I Stay away from lunch table 15.
-Plants don't try to eat you here.
-High school dances are apparently a big thing. (There is no monster to defeat it's just a dance) and the first one is a welcome fresh men and women dance.
-High school has ranks. Fresh men/women, soft s'mores, june-yours and scene-yours. (The last two sound the most interesting tbh)
- You do not get assigned homerooms based on what kind of magic track you're on, it's just a rando teacher.
-Classes: 1st: English. 2nd: Pottery. 3rd: Geography. 4th: Geometry. Lunch. 5th: Gardening. 6th: Environmental sciences.
The human realm was weird. I had so many things I wrote out throughout the day, and it was only my first day.
There were so many clubs and electives and things to try and choose. And you weren't restricted to anything. That was the most exciting part. When choosing electives, I asked if I could be on the pottery track and the gardening track and the desk lady just looked at me confused.
