You woke up in an unfamiliar room. With a soft sigh you remembered that yesterday was your wedding. Biting back a whimper you thought how your wedded husband told you to stay in the guest room.
You were still cladded in your wedding dress and over it, your hair was a mess along with white stains of drool decorating the face.
Nevertheless you discarded the dress and did the daily routine before wearing a dress. When you went downstairs you were already scourging through the utensils to cook breakfast.
Argh, how come you fell into this marriage?
On top of it, marrying your collage crush. Six years ago you had a crush on your college senior Jeon Jungkook. He was in a relationship so you gave up. Eventually you both never got to meet until last year when your father was invited in Mr. Jeon's birthday party. Mrs. Jeon liked you.
But at the same day you noticed the changes in the heartthrob. The eyes of twinkle were turned into pitch black darkness. He was cold, rude and unsympathetic. His mother didn't liked how he was holding onto the memories of his ex girlfriend who cheated on him with his friend Namjoon.
Jungkook was devastated. Although he said he moved on but not involving himself socially was a sign at how he would eventually let his silence consume himself. Since his parents were concerned they had it talked out with your father.
You weren't dating, obviously focused on your career so you didn't had any problem with it. It was the first date when you realised who would be your fiance.
It was a terrible date where you shuttered, been clumsy and embarrassed yourself at several actions. On the other hand he was pissed off at how you could be so irresponsible at such an age. He didn't realized that you both went to same college until you told him about your funny crush.
The only thing you heard from him was," I don't care. Keep your distance. I'm doing this for my parents and after an year we could get divorced."
His words still rang in your mind. It never fails to hurt your fragile emotions because you didn't imagined the side effects of arrange marriage would be so unpleasant.
You were putting the dishes on table when you heard footsteps. As expected he was at the table right at 7 o'clock.
"Good morning."
He nodded while buttoning his hand cuffs. He settled at his seat while you occupied yours. He served for himself and you got it done for yourself respectively. It was so awkward and somehow you wanted to get to know him. Hence, it was a better idea to break the silence.
"Uhm.. I might get late tonight."
He paused. Raising an eyebrow he asked," Why?"
For a millionth time, you internally rolled your eyes because he never remembers anything about you. It's always you who priorities the details to let him know you care.
"I work, Jungkook. Due to wedding I hadn't gone to work since a week. For few days I'll be busy in doing over time so that my work load would decrease."
"I didn't knew you work. Are you sure you wanna work? I can fulfill your needs with my black card."
"I am sure my handwork can pay my bills. So, I'll be off to work after an hour or so."
"Whatever," he continued eating. He's mean.
Soon he left for work and as informed you also head to Kim Corporation.
When you arrived you immediately got scolded for extending your leave than required. Your boss, Taehyung, was furious at you.
All of the employees pitied because of the extra work you got. You had no choice but to stick to it. For about a week you were overworking which triggered Jungkook. At one point he had an argument with you. He blamed you of an extramarital affair, thanks to his traumatic past.
