Kim and Kamol fell asleep after that exchange … it was so hard to remain awake any longer… they were both tired…the entire ordeal was emotionally and physically draining..
Kim originally slept away from Kamol… but once sleep claimed him … he moved and moved which resulted in his current position with his head on Kamol’s shoulder… he was warm and safe… and Kamol had finally slept.. he hadn’t slept like this in 124 Days… the amount of time Kim was gone.. his headache started lighting up after he had his talk with Kim… like stress was draining away from his skull and he surrendered to sleep when he felt Kim’s breath even out…
They both slept well into the day and it was not till noon when Kim woke up warm and surrounded… he was safe.. he felt safe… someone was touching him softly…. and one of his hands was being held tightly…
he opened his eyes… and his gaze met Kamol’s… he was looking at him softly… mesmerized… the man could hardly believe himslef,..
“Why are you looking at me like this… should I charge you for staring..?”
Kamol Chuckled.. “I missed you… I was dying without you…”
Kim didn't know what to say… it was hard to say all the things he wanted to say to Kamol… it was hard to just jump back in and resume from where they stopped.
After the initial meltdown he had… he felt like he had so many things to say and no way to say them… how to tell Kamol that loving him almost killed him… how to tell him how worthless he made him feel and how disappointed he was..
"Talk to me Kim…."
"I don't know how to…"
"Let's start simple…. Why are you here out of all places… "
“Why ? Trying to make sure I cannot run away again…”
“No, Love.. I just want to know where you were..” he said it as softly and sincerly as he could.. he knew Kim’s trust in him was damaged, perhaps beyond repair..
"I was somewhere in Europe but I couldn't take it… I wanted to come back home… but… but… there was none… so I had to …."
"You had to find somewhere to go… somewhere where I won't look for you"
Kim nodded…
Kamol kissed his lips …. Small kiss… an incentive to make him comfortable… he was not angry at Kim for the choices he made..
"Where are you staying now…. "
"I cannot tell you…"
"Kim…. I won't do anything you don't want me to…"
Kim was not sure about that anymore… He would have to re-learn how to trust Kamol… If Kamol managed to convance him to stay ..
