Two Years Later !!

Baiboon was taking a walk around the garden, a book in hand.. he seemed to be absent-mindedly strowling, his thoughts were so far away from the book, the garden, and what he was currently doing...

he should be revising for his midterms, but his mind kept going back to something else...

Everything was different now...

He didn't know what was inviting the notion of him thinking about it, but he was spiraling into the number of things that had been going on for the past 2 years...

It started with Kim and Kamol being officially partners for life... and then everything took a turn and it was like life exploded in rainbow colors...

Kim declared shortly after that he is punishing Kamol by forcing him to take a vacation again with him, this time willingly going back to the Inn for a week...

Kamol teased him by saying it was their honeymoon ...

One thing led to another

And then another after that...

And all of them were taken to tag along to the impromptu punishment...

After that days passed in a blur

Baiboon finished High School with high enough grades to get him wherever he wanted, which invited the question of what he wanted to do...

His grandmother almost exploded from how happy and proud she was with him...

Baiboon remembered thinking that if it was a book plot... his mother would show up now... but she never did...

He never saw or heard of her...

Kim sat him down after the grand celebration and the graduation party to talk to him about his options...

"I want you to know that we will support you all the way, you don't have to worry about a single thing... heck, if you want to travel to the moon we would back you up..."

Baiboon had already done the thinking part... He wanted to remain loyal to his people... the people who saved him... the people who took him in when his own mother didn't...

He wanted to be integrated into the company... He would study business in order to be able to help in the company... he no longer desired to just sit on the sideline... and by being in business school he can remain close to the house and his grandma - who is not growing any younger day by day and would not cope well with being away from him, see where his and Khom's thing was going and receive help from Kim in his studies.. it was the perfect win-win situation...

him and Khom... that was not a smooth sail at all....

Once he was a college student Khom seemed to get bolder with him... courting him more and taking a serious turn in their relationship... he stopped giving Baiboon all those mixed signals and even one day he declared that he would like to be Baiboon's Boyfriend If Baiboon would take him... because now that he was in college he can just say no and look for someone better and more suited to him and all...

The only answer Baiboon had to him was a soft kiss on his cheek...

"I only want to be with you..."

and from that on, things have been progressing steadily between them... now they share a set of rooms together.. and they are properly spending time and getting to know each other as well...

there were still the occasional fallouts when Khom forgets that Baiboon is grown up and doesn't need to be shielded from the world, and the ones where Khom fails to communicate with Baiboon altogether...
