Sunghoon's Pov•••

"He was my brother, Dongkyu.."

Brother?! He has a brother?! Wait... was?...

"What do you mean by 'was'?..." I ask. I'll probably regret it, but i'm so confused.

"Do you promise you don't tell anyone i'm telling you this?" He asks. "I've never told anyone about this. Not even Jungwon and Niki."

"I promise." I say, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Okay.." He said, taking a deep breathe.

"He um... he passed away not too long ago.."

oh my god... i wasn't expecting that...

I don't really know what to say, but thankfully he kept going.

"At our old school... they made fun of him so much for his appearance, even though there was nothing wrong with him."

"It went on for so long, and it was terrible. It was so bad, that he eventually ended up taking his own life.."

"The kids at our school were ruthless. They even bullied me and Yunjin for it. Like, who the fuck makes fun of someone for their brother killing themself?" He says.

I can see a tear roll down his eye. It broke me with every sentence, but now this is really it.

I wrap my arms around Sunoo, leaning his head on my chest and stroking his hair.

"Take a sec babe. I know this is hard to talk about, and i'm so thankful you trust me enough to tell me this." I whisper, rubbing his back. " I'm so sorry that happened."

Sunoo sniffles, then let's go of me.

"It's fine." He says, wiping his eyes before continuing.

"Okay, anyways, they made fun of us for our own brother passing away which is insane, so that's why we switched to the school we are at now."

"Dongkyu always wanted me to be positive and happy, so I blocked out most of it and try to stay positive. We're still healing from it, but we are getting better."

"My mom went to work in America for a bit after it happened so she could get her mind off of it. She's also trying to stay positive and it seems she's doing okay now."

He pauses, taking a deep breathe before continuing.

"Me and Dongkyu were inseparable. He was my best friend. Don't get me wrong, me and Yunjin are close, we got even closer after he passed, but he was my most favorite person in the world."

"I was so angry and...sad when he left me. I felt so lonely, like I had no one. I lost my other half." He says.

He then looks at me and smiles.

"But now, I have you. I feel complete with you, like i've found my other half again. I feel like myself."

Shit. Now i can feel the tears welling up...

"Dongkyu was always so excited for when i would get a boyfriend. He was 'tired of me being single'." Sunoo says chuckling.

"He sounds amazing." I say with a smile. I'm glad he's not crying anymore, but it's still sad to see him like this.

"He really was. I wish you could've gotten to meet him, you would've gotten along great." He says.
