Sunghoon's Pov•••

"What?!" I exclaimed. "Wonyoung?!"

I look over to Sunoo who's eyes are wide.

"Yes, and it wasn't just her.." Mom says.

"Who else was it?" I ask.

I squeeze Sunoos hand a little tighter as i see her deeply sigh.

"I don't know if you guys know her, but...." She starts.
"Her cousin Yuna helped her reach your father.."

"WHAT?!" I exclaim.

Sunoo squeeze my hand tighter. I was taking a few deep breathes, so Sunoo decided to speak.

"They're cousins? Makes sense.." Sunoo says.

"Yes. Okay, let me explain this all in one go so this goes faster." Mom says.

Me and Sunoo both nod.

"So basically, Wonyoung and Yuna somehow contacted your father. They told him that he needed to come here to see you or more so "pay you a visit". That same day a few days ago when you told me about your date with Sunoo, before you told me that, he contacted me telling me he wanted to talk about something with the divorce documents or something like that."

"He so happened to be coming the day you were going out, So i tired to take that as my chance to keep you out of the house as long as possible so you wouldn't have to see him again. When he got here, he told me he wanted to see you, and wanted to see how "his son" was. I wasn't going to let him see you, but you had just happened to come to the house right after that..." She explained.

"Oh.." Is all i could muster out.

"When you told him that you and Sunoo were dating, i was terrified for you. I was terrified for you both." She said, looking at me and Sunoo.

"I couldn't help you last time, but i knew this time i was going to stand up for you. I couldn't let him hurt you again." She said. I watched as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Mom, don't cry..." I say, fighting off tears myself.

I peek over to Sunoo, and I see him wiping away a few tears too.

"I couldn't bare to see you or Sunoo get hurt. I knew this time he would do so much worse." She said, wiping away the tear. "I didn't want to lose my son again. I really thought you were never going to come back when you ran away from your father."

"You're not going to lose me mom." I say, giving her a reassuring smile. "Did he hurt you? What happened after we left?"

"I knew you were going to ask that. No, he didn't hurt me. I hurt him." She said.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Sunoo asked.

"He tried to go after you guys, so I hit him with the pan." She said proudly.

My jaw dropped.

"You did that?!" I ask surprised.

"Yup. I did that." She said. "I had already called the police, so they took him and I got a restraining order."

"Wow.." Sunoo whispers.

I chuckle, feeling the mood lift.

"I hope that answered some questions you had." Mom said.

"Yeah, it did." I say.

"Sunoo, you should stay over!" She says, turning towards Sunoo.

"I would love to, but I can't." Sunoo says, looking just as disappointed as my mom does.

"Then you should come over tomorrow for dinner!" She suggests.

Sunoo looks over to me like he's asking me if that's okay, to which i nod. Of course I want him here for dinner. I wish i could be around him all the time.

"Yeah, of course!" Sunoo says.

"Alright then! I have to go now or i'll be late for work." She says, and we all stand up from the table.

"Okay." I say.

"Take Sunoo home when hes ready. Don't make him walk." Mom said.

"Of course i'll take him home mom. Why would i make him walk home?" I say, secretly rolling my eyes.

"Okay okay. I'll see you later for dinner." Then she turns to Sunoo. "I hope you keep your promise in coming tomorrow!"

"I will!" Sunoo says with a big smile.

My mom then brings Sunoo into a big hug. Sunoo looks at me a bit shocked, but hugs back quickly.

"Bye!" She says, grabbing her purse and heading towards the door.

"Bye mom!" We say as she exits the house.

"Are you wanting to go home now?" I ask Sunoo.

"I probably should. You need to rest, cause i know you didn't sleep at all last night." He says, crossing his arms.

"Oh.." I mutter, scratching the back of my neck.

"I sleep better with you next to me though." I jokingly pout.

"Oh my gosh." He says laughing, playfully slapping my shoulder. "Just take me home so you can sleep."

"Fine." I say, and grab my car keys.
