Sunoo's Pov•••

Oh my god...

I wanted to believe that it wouldn't be that monster.... but I should've listened to myself.

Why would he do this?... Does he really hate his own son that much?..

What has he done to him? What is he doing to him?

How far is Sunghoons dad going to go?

If he can hit his own kid...who knows what else he could do...

"Are you positive that the man in this video is Park Sungmin?" Officer 2 asks Ms. Park.

"Yes. I'm positive." She says.

"Thank you. We will send our units out to his house as soon as possible and search for Sunghoon." He says.

"Th-thank you." Ms. Park says, wiping her tears.

"You all should go home. We will call you immediately once we have anything." Officer 1 says.

Ms. Park nods, and gets up from her chair. She pats my shoulder, so I get up too.

Jay was standing with his head rested on the wall. He looked like he was going to break down any minute.

I gently take his arm, and walk him out with us.

I may be dating Sunghoon, but Jay has known Sunghoon since they were young.

Imagine what it's like for him, watching his best friend get taken by his own father.

I sit Jay in the back with me: The car ride back to Ms. Parks house was silent.

We were all still processing the footage we just watched.

I decide to text my mom and tell her where I am, just incase if she noticed i was gone.

We get back to the house, and I make Jay sit down on the couch. I wasn't going to let him leave when he was like this.

It was now almost time to go to school, so I text the group chat and ask them to come to Sunghoon's house if they can.

I tell them that Jay was here too, and that we just got back from the police station.

They quickly answer me, saying they would be here in 10 minutes.

"Are they coming?" Ms. Park asks.

"Yes." I say.

She goes and unlocks the door for everyone, then goes down the hall to her room to get something.

I look over, and he's staring off into space.

He was crying.

I didn't say anything, I just brought him in for a hug.

Jay hugged me back, and cried onto my shoulder. I've never seen him like this.

They were all there for me when I was like that, now it's my turn to be here for Jay.

"It's gonna be okay Jay. They know who took him, and they're going to find him." I say.

"No Sunoo, it's not okay." Jay says through sobs.

He pulls away from the hug and faces me.

"What if they don't find Sunghoon? What if they do find him, and he's dead?" Jay says, tears still running down his face.

I didn't know what to say. I was thinking the same exact thing.

"You should've seen him that day. The day he called me from the park. Yes, I know he told you, because he told me he did." He says.

"When I got to him, he looked terrible. It was a sight I still can't unsee. The bruise on his face...I know what that man is capable of."

He takes a deep breath before continuing.

"Seeing the footage...watching my best friend being put into a headlock and being dragged into an alley by his own father? How am I supposed to be okay after that? I wasn't okay ever since you guys told me he was missing, because I knew it was that monsters doing."

"If he's really gone...i don't know what i'm going to do."

"Jay...don't say that. They will find Sunghoon. Alive." I say, feeling the tears run down my face. "We just have to trust them...we are helpless at this point."

Jay wipes his eyes and nods.

"Yeah..you're right." He says.

He pulls me in for one last short hug, before letting go.

Just then, Heeseung, Jake, Jungwon, and Niki quickly come into the house.

"Jay! Where have you been?!" Jungwon asks, running up to Jay and tightly hugging him.

"I'm sorry Wonnie. I should've atleast texted you." Jay says, hugging him back and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"You should've atleast texted ALL of us. Where have you been?" Heeseung asks.

"I needed some time alone." He says.

"It's okay, we get it." Jake says.

"So, what happened at the station?" Niki asks.

"They um.. they showed us footage from where Sunghoon was at." Jay says.

"What happened? Did they find out who did it?" Jake asks.

"They showed us the footage of Sunghoon being kidnapped..." I tell them.

"What?! They showed you?!" Jungwon asks, sitting next to Jay.

"Yeah.." Jay says.

"They showed us because the man in the video didn't have anything covering his face, so they wanted to see if we could identify him." I explain.

"Did you guys recognize him?" Jake asks.

"Yeah..it was Sunghoons dad." I say.

"WHAT?!" They all exclaim.

"They're going to search for him right now. That's why we're here." Jay says.

"Oh my god...Are you guys okay? I mean, seeing the footage of that.." Heeseung asks.

Me and Jay look at each other, then I turn back to Heeseung.

"Yeah, we're okay.." I say.

"That's good. We'll stay with you guys." Jake says.

"Thank you.." Jay says.

They all put their bags down by the couch, and come to sit with us.

It felt nice to have them all here right now.

Especially since we are about to find Sunghoon.
