Dawn of the New Era

Prologue

The time is 11.59 P.M on new year's eve 2029, celebrations is in full swing across the United States to welcome the new decade. Even when the tension between the United States with Russia and China is getting hotter by the day there's no reason to miss the new year celebration, that include the president of the United States of America, President Carl Johnson, the 47th president of America.

When the clock strikes midnight indicating that a new decade has begun, a bright white light suddenly appear on the sky across the country and it disappear as soon as its arrives, everyone was dumfounded and asked what was that light.

The President, who was at the White House at that time immediately called for emergency meeting with all the relevant parties.

"Can someone tell what was that light? Is it Russian nuke or Chinese one?"

"We still trying to get all the information sir" Said the chief of joint staff

"Sir we just got report from NASA that we lost all communication to our satellites" said the NASA director.

Before the president can reply other join to report what theirs respective departments has found

"Sir we just lost all communication with other countries as well"

"Sir we just got report from folks in New York and Texas saying that their neighbor countries has become a barren land and sea respectively"

"Everyone calm down, we won't get anything if we panicking, now I want NASA to re-establish contact with our satellites immediately, I want the Air Force to conduct aerial survey as soon as it safely to do so, meanwhile I want the National Guards with local law enforcement to maintain peace across the country, we are officially on DEFCON 1 people, get everything sorted out"

With that, all people in the room was out to their department to get everything ready for the DEFCON 1.

A few days after the light incident, reports are starting to come out.

"Sir, NASA has just re-establish contact to several of our satellites, they still trying to get the rest, and from what they can found is weird to say the least"

"What do you mean?"

"Sir it seems we are not on Earth anymore"

"What are you talking about?"

"Sir do you feel that the air is cleaner than before?"

"Now that you mentioned it, it seems the air feels so refreshing lately"

"Yes sir, and this is the photograph of the planet that NASA has taken"

"Dear lord, is this for real?"

"It appears to be so sir"

The photograph was showing the surface of the planet, the landmass which was not supposed to be there was visible, and the shape of all the continent was very different from earth, it seems that the US is indeed just got transferred to another world.

The news shocked the president to say the least, and he cannot mutter a single word when he got report stated that they finally able to contact their overseas base and all of their assets are here with them.

"Sir, the air force has just found a landmass east of here, and they asking what to do next"

The President then ordered the air force to conduct surveillance there and told them to not engage in combat if they found another country unless in self defense, what they don't need right now is another international incident, after that he told his secretary to prepare for press conference, as it is now the time to tell the American people of what just happened.

In an hour or so, the press conference finally begun.

"My fellow American, I'm sure you must be wondered what just happened in the new year's day, from what I can tell you is that we still trying to figured out what was just happened as well, but there is something else that I can tell you, we are in fact, the United States of America just found itself transferred to another world, I'm sure you must be confused, but from what I have been told by the experts at NASA we did in fact not on earth anymore, and this is the evidence that has been collected from past few days. I know that you must be worried, but know this, that I and along with everyone in the government will do anything to ensure the survival of our great country and make sure you all can be live as normally as possible, In God We Trust"

And with that the press conference has finally ended, and the American across the country what will happen to their lives as this is a shocking news to everyone.

And so, the adventure of the earth superpower has begun in another world.
