She Knew of him, how could she not. Ominis Gaunt, descendent of Salazar Slytherin. The boy, who was often found either by himself in the defence against the dark arts tower or with his close friends, Anne and Sebastian sallow. He was the handsome tall boy who used his wand to navigate the castle.

He knew of her also, Adelaide Hallow, the daughter of Lucas Hallow, a very well-known Auror. She was witch from a very powerful and pureblooded family. She was the girl in which his parents were hoping to marry him off to

Or at least had been hopeful with the possibility of doing such a thing when they had found out both of the women were pregnant around the same time.

But the second they found out Ominis was blind, his parents had given up on the idea of him being able to marry.

Their son, the good-for-nothing son whom was wasting their blood status. Their son, who wouldn't even put muggles in their place, such a disappointment.

Both families were purebloods, and both of the families were known for being associated with Slytherin.

Being an only child, Adelaide Hallow had been lonely growing up, she spent most of her time alone in the care of her family house-elves until her eleventh birthday, the day she was sent her letter from hogwarts.

When she first arrived at hogwarts She had been awfully shy and reserved, but surprisingly the girl who soon became known as 'Slytherin's princess' and found friendship with Imelda Reyes, a fellow Scottish girl who could come across as quite mean but, really she wasn't so awful.

She was sarcastic and cared a lot about flying and quidditch. Imelda had been the person who had helped young Adelaide Hallow learn how to fly. Imelda was ambitious and soon found herself becoming the quidditch captain and although Adelaide wasn't one for sport, she cheered for her close friend and showed up to each game.

Adelaide on the other hand loved potions, perhaps it was due to her mother making potions for a living or perhaps it was the aspect of brewing something and creating something from scratch. She simply adored it.

Years had passed since her first year at Hogwarts, but now Adelaide was beginning her fifth year and so was Ominis.

The pair hadn't even said one word to each other and they had been attending the school for the last four years But soon they'd both know there was more than what meets the eye to the boy who spends his time alone and the girl who loved potions.
