Introduction

Hey guys,

Thank you so much for giving my story a chance. I really appreciate it already.

So basically this is a common trope about the Italian Mafia and a long lost daughter, with issues of her own and no clue about her biological family and several brothers. These are not spoilers. If you have read any other Mafia stories then you are probably familiar with the storyline too.

I'm going to go ahead and say it beforehand that this book may have scenes that are similar to those of other stories, but that is simply because this is a very common trope.

I can assure you that none of my work has been based on somebody else's ideas and I will try to make this as different as possible. But sometimes, things may be predictable, and I will try my best to make it.... well unpredictable.

The idea of writing this book just came up to me out of nowhere. I am not saying, it is a new plot that I thought of. I have read many stories with this plot, and yet something doesn't feel right. Always.

Sometimes, the girl is too vulnerable, or young or dramatic, or the brothers aren't very nice. Sometimes, the story is way to predictable and cringey.

I am not criticizing other's works. They are just getting the ideas in their minds, out here like I am. And most importantly they have catered to my sudden urges of random tropes 24/7.

Regardless, whilst reading those stories, I'd wish for something different and constantly wonder, like what if it wasn't like this? Why is she so timid? Why are they so dramatic?

In other words, I'd be reading something, but wishing and picturing something entirely different. Then I thought, why not share the story the way I constantly think with you all?

So here I am...
