Third person's POV

The three men watched as their little girl walked up to her room and little bursts of joy bloomed in their hearts. Vincenzo sighed knowing the hardest part was yet to be done. To discuss her arrival and Isabella's death with everyone.

He didn't want to recount and go through that pain and anger nor did he want his sons to feel that. And for someone like Killian, just her name was enough of a trigger, but he had no choice.

"Get the boys and come to the office." Vincenzo sighed and walked away.

Dante and Kie went up to fetch the boys. As Kie walked down with Ivan and Kayden, Dante slowed back to talk to Killian.

Killian must've realized it too because as soon his brothers were out of sight, he spoke, "Let me guess, Dad told you what happened before dinner?"

Dante nodded stiffly, "He did."

"So now you're going to scold me? Then later Dad?" He asked snappily.

"As far as I know, people do get scolded when they do something wrong." Dante raised his brows as he stated this. "Look changes are hard for everyone, but that doesn't excuse what you said to her."

"Great! Now you're all going to defend her and not care about how wrong she is just cause we lost her." Killian scoffed and threw his hands up.

"No Killian!" Dante turned Killian towards him. "I am not defending her. I am simply explaining to you that what you did was unnecessary and all that yelling, arguing and blaming isn't the right way to deal with things. It's not going to help you accept the changes nor is it going to make anything easier for anyone else."

Killian sullenly listened to him as he looked at the wall behind Dante.

"Now we are going to have a meeting to discuss everything and you're going to behave. No attitude, no arguing, shattering things or leaving until we are done okay? You will stay the until everything is on the table, no matter how much you hate it. And you will apologize to Amora for what you said." Dante said gravely. "Am I clear?"

Killian immediately frowned hearing that and began retaliating, "I am not apologizing! What do I have to apologize for? She was rude too!"

Dante sighed pinching the bridge of his nose, feeling as if everything he said earlier went through one ear and came out through the other.

"Killian, if you go out tomorrow and meet someone new, and they insult your brothers or Dad, what would you do?" Dante asked, holding onto some semblance of patience.

Killian looked enraged at those words and jerked back, "How dare anyone!? I would cut their fucking tongues out!"

"Exactly! So what makes you think it is wrong for Amora to react that way when you disrespected her Mom?"

He looked taken aback hearing this. Dante raised his brows when he did not receive a reply.

"And then afterwords, you mentioned no one wanting her here. It may be what you feel or what you think you feel at the moment, but don't you think these words speak for everyone and could easily plant a seed in her mind. You may feel differently Killi, but what if your words have an adverse effect and end up ruining what our family could have with Amora? So am I clear about the apology?"

He bit back on his words and thought. He knew for sure the others felt very differently about her. This was what scared him. In just a day, she brought up these changes, what if over time the change her appearance gave way to became too much and not in a good way? What if everyone started becoming blind to things around them?
