A Calm In The Storm

Senia POV

I sat in her living room as I put my change of clothes on. We stayed the night with Ryan again as she was going through her withdrawal and her break up with Reese.

China: I left her a slice." she said as she plopped down next to me.

      We ate our pizza in silence as we watched the movie. We kept the volume down to listen for when Ryan started to throw up again.

Diana: you guys gave her some water right?" she asked.

Me: yeah, I left her a big bottle." I said. She nodded as the doorbell rang. I knew it was the boys, Dion told me they would be stopping by.

Me: I'll get it." I said placing my plate down.

Sucking my thumb, I went to the door as they waited patiently. Opening it, I smiled as Dion leaned down and kissed my cheek.

Me: you guys are late." I said as they piled in.

Me: it's 2 am, you guys were suppose to be here at 11." I sassed.

Dion: we was wit Reese." he said as my smile faded.

Me:..how is he?" I asked cautiously.

Dion:..he just quiet. He not talkin much." he said.

Dion: how's Ryan?" he asked.

Me: she is in a hangover stage..and won't stop crying." I said. He made a sad face as he looked up the stairs.

Dion: she sleep?"

Me: uh no, I don't think so." I said.

Dion: aight, tell her we down here incase she needs us." he said. I nodded as the sound of her throwing up came from her room.

Me: excuse me.." I smiled small.

          Hopping up the steps, I came into her room as she threw up again. She was leaning over he toilet as I quickly went over and held her hair up.

Ryan: w-was that Reese?" she spit into the toilet as I sighed.

Me: No Ry, he didn't come." I said letting her down. She dropped her shoulders as she threw up again.

    By now the smell of her throw up, I was use to as it fogged up the bathroom. Spitting the rest of her mucus out, she reached up weakly and flushed the toilet.

Helping her to her feet, I let her rinse her mouth and brush her teeth as we heard the front door open again.

Ace: you came nigga." I heard as I frowned. Leaving Ryan's side I came to the top of the stairs as I saw Reese in the foyer.

Me: what are you doin here?" I whispered through my teeth as I came down them.

Dion: I told him to come." he said.

Me: and you didn't mention that." I said folding my arms.

Dion: no I did not." he said as I rolled my eyes. I folded my arms as Maurice looked at me nervously.

Maurice: you ain't gone smack me is you?" he teased as I straight faced him.

Me: depends, are you gonna choke my best friend again?" I snapped as Dion slapped my ass.

Dion: chill out." he warned as Maurice smirked.

Maurice: na it's cool." he said tapping his arm.

Maurice: no, I ain't. I was wrong foe dat. I just came to help take care of her." he said.

Me: I don't think that's a good idea." I protected.

Maurice: Senia, I ain't on no bullshit. I just wanna make sure she's okay." he said more softly.
