RobynJo
Today has been so fucking chaotic with all these damn new reporters. Of course some recognized me and started asking me some insane question, but my absolute favorite was, do you think Aiden's motive was your mother not willing to leave your father to be with him? I almost said something to that woman but jordan just turned me around walk into the school building.
Currently we're in English well I was, Jordan was called in for his interview. I was a nervous wreck because even though I'm new I'm still going to be questioned. I wouldn't be surprised if I was listed as a suspect because you know since I'm new in town. As the teacher finishes up reading off the syllabus, Jordan walks back in with his stuff in hand heading back to his seat next to me.
"How was it?"
"It was chill. It was more like a get to know me they asked where I was at last night and told that I was with you. I had the proof to show them I was with you and that I went back home afterwards. Kasey lived almost near the country side there would've been no way I would've went over there and make it home fifteen twenty minutes. In the news earlier they said something about the killer wearing a costume because some of the fabric ripped at the scene. What I do know is that man definitely did it."
" What makes you say that?"
"They were hinting at what happened and there's no way a girl has the strength to take down Steve along with football he did do wrestling during the off season."
"RobynJo."
I look up to see one of the deputies standing at the door to escort me.
"It'll be ok."
I give Jordan a quick smile before leaving with the police officer to get this over with.

I walk into the principals off to see the principal of course, the sheriff, and a few other deputies. They each give me a small smile before I take a seat in one of the chairs. Flashbacks of being in the interrogation room floor my mind and my palms go clam.
"Miss Avery how are you doing?"
"I'm ok."
"I know this isn't how you thought your first day would go huh?"
"I guess you go say that", I chuckle.
"Jordan Poole said he was with you last night is that correct?"
"Yes sir we were watching a few movies."
He writes that down in his notepad nodding his head.
"Ok do you remember what time he went home last night?"
"It was around 11:15pm."
"Kasey and Steve were killed closer to midnight his story checks out", I hear one of the police officers whisper.
"And he told me that he would've been home around 11:30 11:35pm?"
"Yes and I have the text messages he sent me saying he made it home."
I show him my phone and he nods his head writing more stuff down.
"What do you like to do during your free time RobynJo?"
"Just chill you know...watching movies, reading...I don't exactly have that many friends."
"Do you like nature you know hiking? Hunting?"
Ain't no fucking way.
"No sir I'm not really a big fan of outside."
He gives me a small smile before escorting me back to class.

The interview wasn't that bad it just to confirm what Jordan told them. I wouldn't suspect him as a killer because he's just a big teddy bear. They did ask me how I was doing because you know and the sheriff gave me his number incase me and my dad need something. Aiden is in jail now no one is coming after me and my dad anymore.
Right now we're in lunch and Jordan said he's going to introduce me to all of his friends. I'm glad that I'm making more friends so I can feel a sense of home in this place. We head outside to the fountain and see a group of kids hanging out around there. Jordan takes my hand and picks up the speed basically dragging me. We stop in front of them and all there eyes are on me.
"Wassup y'all."
"Wassup."
"So this is RobynJo, RJ this is Donte, Lester, Ralen, Juan, and Jordan."
"Nice to meet you guys but please call me RJ."
They all say their hellos and give me a sweet smile. I sit my food down before Juan taps my shoulder.
"Are you going to eat that", he questions while pointing to my bay of chips.
"Nah you can have them."
"Thank you."
"So RJ what brings you to Napa", Dontae ask.
"My dad opened a new practice here and he wanted a change of scenery for me."
"Oh shit Dr. Avery is your dad?"
"Yeah."
I look out in the little park area to see kids laying down on blankets, throwing footballs, talking, etc. I was so engrossed in what all my peers were doing that I didn't see the football flying my way. Good think Jordan caught it before it could connect to my face.
"My fault about that I'm sorry."
"Just be careful next time man."
I look at the boy and he seems oddly familiar. I erased everything reminding me of Orange County so almost everything and everyone is a blur. He stares at me for a few moments before waking back to his group of friends tossing the ball back around.
