A/N: Quick note!! There's one specific scene with abrupt switches in language in this chapter.
In that scene, the different language (Tagalog) will be indicated by looking like [this]. I wanted to give a quick thanks to izeishere since they offered to help me with translating some English to Tagalog for me and actually did with the initial draft back in 2019! I've made big changes to it since then though and decided to use a bracket indicator instead so it wouldn't interrupt the flow of the chapter, but I still kept in a bit of dialogue they helped me translate. So a big thanks to them ^^
Some Filipino foods get mentioned in this chapter too! Hitomi's Filipino heritage isn't something I bring up often, so I figured I'd sprinkle some into this arc when I could. I just thought the idea would be nice 😊

The Bakusquad practically tackled Hitomi once she'd found them, Bakugou watching as they surrounded her in a group hug.
"Hitomiiii," Mina whined, cuddling the bluenette. "Bakugou's being an ass."
"YOU'RE THE REASON WE GOT LOST, IDIOT!!" Bakugou yelled.
Mina stuck her tongue out at him, making Bakugou grit his teeth in irritation. Hitomi pointed at the escalator once the Bakusquad had finally let her go, saying, "The rest of the class is on the third floor. We have another hour before the festival starts, so if you still want to see the rest of the mall, try not to get lost again, okay?"
The group made sounds of affirmation, following Hitomi as if they were baby ducklings. Bakugou stared at the back of her head as they made their way to the second floor, before he looked away with a huff.
He'd been trying not to think too much about what the little grape shit had said yesterday. After all, he rarely ever had anything of substance to say. Bakugou remembered getting especially pissed off whenever Mineta tried to say something crude about their rooming situation. It irked him that he could even think about Hitomi that way. Gross.
And now he was spouting some ridiculousness about Hitomi not wanting to be around them anymore?? What the fuck kind of bullshit was that? What did he even know, anyway?
Bakugou finally looked back at her, only to see she was looking over her shoulder, in his direction.
Was she looking at him...?
They made eye contact, staring at each other before Hitomi's eyes widened and she turned away.
Bakugou's eyes narrowed. What... was that...?
They continued on to another escalator, finally arriving on the third floor as they found the class at the food court.
"I'm back," Hitomi told Iida.
"Oh, thank goodness!" the class rep exclaimed, adjusting his glasses. "I was afraid they'd gotten themselves into trouble. Great job finding them, Kanetsukabe-kun!"
