Her Alone

Chapter 2

Prerna's POV

It was 24th December today. I was as excited as I was yesterday because you know😉. Therefore, I got ready fast and went to school.

Today, I reached school a little early than late😅 and sat with Sachit.
My best friends were not talking to me which was really making me sad.

Today was Sachit's bestfriend Karan's birthday. In actual his birthday was yesterday but I don't know why he always celebrate on 24th or 25th December. So Karan wanted to sit with me and Sachit got up and let him sit with me without even asking me if I wanted to sit with him or not.

The first period was English. Our teacher gave us some activity to do which we all were doing as it was our last day before the winter vacation. After the period got over I was not at all happy to sit with Karan but what could I do?

So I was just in a sulky mood and was not responding actively to Karan.
My girl best friend Leena knew about my crush and was supporting me and in the 3rd period which was an adjustment period, I sat with her and started gossiping as to why Sachit got up and all and then got back to my seat when the bell of the next period went off.

Finally Karan understood and got up from that seat after the 4th period giving seat to Sachit. Although I was feeling guilty after behaving in such a way with Karan but you know crushes really make you do stupid things.

When Sachit got back, I was not talking to him properly because I was upset. He tried to make me understand as it was Karan's birthday so how could he refuse him?

"But still you could have asked me" I told him. He put his head down feeling guilty.

The 5th period was of maths. As it was our last day so no teacher was giving us work to do. And we started playing Antakshari (word chain) and started singing songs. As I was a Bollywood fan, I knew most of the songs and I was the one who was mostly singing and all my classmates were cheering for me except my best friends you know.

We enjoyed a lot in that game.
Then it was our break time and there in the playground we were playing called letter game in which one person would say a letter for example 'A' and if it is in your name once then you have to step one step ahead and if twice then you have to move forward two step ahead.

We enjoyed again alot as our whole class was playing together.
In the sixth period, our physics teacher who was also our class teacher asked us to give our opinions on how the school can improve in the various fields. It was literally a boring period but we made out of it.
Me and Sachit were quite happy after sitting together but Karan was not talking to me. And there I had added one more upset friend with whom I have to deal.

After the last period, we went to our respective homes. And even before changing my uniform I sent a snap to Sachit of my hand where he had made a mark with the pen telling him that you are dead🙂.

And then he sent me laughing emoticons.
We chatted.

Then I called my best friends, Rohan and Lakshay but we were again fighting. They got a wrong message from my explanations. I tried to make them understand but they were still in anger.

I discussed this matter with Sachit and he said that he could talk with him if I wanted but I wanted to deal with my friends on my own so I said its okay.

Me and Sachit were chatting on snapchat at night. And I wanted to tell him that I like him and also was in a hope to get a reply from him.
So I initiated it and we talked about his marriage I don't know why. And he said that I could become his ghodi (horse😐) from which I was annoyed as fuck.
But in response I said for marriage you first need to find a girl and for your information no one would marry you 😑.

Then he said its fine I will just marry my ghodi indicating he will marry me which made me blush 🤭.

Then I said I think its time that we tell each other and we were very much stubborn because we started fighting on who will say first🤦🏻. It was almost 2 a.m. so I said that we will say together at 2 a.m. and was expecting that he would send the message but I had to send it first but at last we finally knew that we both like each other.

I was on cloud nine and wanted to scream but my parents were sleeping in the next room so I resisted on doing it.

Then we chatted for a while and went to sleep as it was almost 2:30 a.m.

I slept with a smile on my face.

Yayyyyyyyyy!

They finally told each other.

But if they like each other then why will they breakup and why will her friends also betray her?

Any ideas as to what is going to happen?
