Chapter 6

Prerna's POV

I woke up at 7 and oh my god I am late again!!!!
I have to do everything fast to reach school in time.

I brushed my teeth, took a quick shower and skipped my breakfast because I can't afford to be late on the first day of my 11th class. Although my parents scolded me but I made them understand as I will eat something in the school and also will have the lunch my mother packed for me in the break.

Then I fastly started my activa and went to school as I go to school on my own from 10th class.

My school have a parking lot where all the students who come on their own park their vehicles. I parked my activa and went straight near the announcement board and checked which section is mine and on which floor it is.

Their was a list of classes pasted on the board for 11th class as -

Medical- Section D and E
Room No. - S26, S27

Non medical - Section A,B,C
Room No.- S23,S24,S25

Commerce with Math - Section F and G
Room No.- S28,S29

Commerce without Math - Section H,I,J
Room No. - S30,S31,S32

So my room no. is either S28 or S29 because I have chosen commerce with math because math is my favourite subject.

S28 and S29 means that the class is on the second floor and the no. of the class is 28 or 29.

I climbed to the second floor and started searching for the room no.

Suddenly I collided with a muscular body and was about to fall but two arms quickly hold my waist and saved me from falling.

"Hey you can open your eyes, you are safe." Some guy said to me and I slowly opened my eyes to see that guy is so handsome with black orbs, tall, straight nose, messy hair and was looking hot in the school uniform.

"You like what you see?" He said and smirked looking at me and then I realised I was checking a guy out.

"What! No!" I said to him and he started laughing and his smile was so gorgeous and killing.

"What the hell! Why are you holding me? Leave me!" I said to him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah of course!" I shouted at him and he left me making me fall at the floor.

I hissed with pain and glared at him.
"I didn't meant like that you stupid!" I shouted glaring at him and then got up to leave from there as I had enough of drama in the morning.

"Hey, by the way my name is Naksh. May I know your name?" He yelled but I didn't say anything and left from there.

I muttered under my breath,"Idiot."

I finally found the room and then found my name and yeah my class room is S28 as my instinct told me.

I quickly went in the classroom and took a seat in the middle of the row. I looked around in my classroom and was happy when I didn't find any familiar face.

At that same moment, Naksh or Laksh or whatever his name was made his entry into the classroom and I sighed like why does he have to be in the same classroom?

I put my bag on the seat so that he wouldn't come and sit with me. But to my surprise he came, picked my bag and put it at the floor making me stare at him in shock.

I quickly picked my bag as I can't bear to make my panda bag dirty.

"You still didn't tell me your name." He said to me and I just glared at him.

He shut himself when he saw my angry face.

Soon the bell ringed and our class teacher made her entry in the class and introduced herself.

"Good morning students. I am your new class teacher, Ms. Avery. I hope we all will get along in the future. Now I want all of you to introduce yourself as I know there are many students who are new admissions and we need to make them feel comfortable. So let's start from the 1st row."

I sighed at this thought as it is a really stupid and childish thing to do. But no one can disobey their teacher so one by one everyone were introducing themselves to which I was not at all paying any attention.

But then someone introduced himself
"Hello guys, I am Sachit Khanna. I have been studying in this school from 6th class and I am happy to get you all as my classmates for the next 2 years. I hope we will get along. Thank you."

I was shocked to see him in the same class like how can he be in this class? Didn't he want to take non medical????????
I thought and suddenly someone pulled my arm and I looked to see that he was no one but that handsome guy who just saved me from falling down a few moments before.

He said,"Hey its your turn now. Where are you lost?"

I looked around to see that everyone was staring at me and that was the moment when I saw that Sachit was sitting with a girl who is Samaira as I know her. Suddenly a thought came in my mind.
"He moved on so fast?"
"How can he?"
"Did he choose Commerce because of her?"

Then I stood up and said,
"Hi everyone I am Prerna Arora. I have been studying in this school from last 5 years. Thank you."

I sat down and Naksh or Laksh whatever his name got up and introduced himself.
"Helloooo my buddies. My name is Naksh
Singhania. I am new admission and I look forward to irritate you all in the future. Haha just kidding. Thank you."

Everyone laughed at his introduction. I also smiled.
I thought, "So his name is Naksh."

Then everyone who was left introduced themselves then Ms. Avery said,"Guys, I hope you guys will get along and make friends with each other. You all can copy the time table in you almanac. Also bring your books according to the time table. I don't want to hear any complaint from any of your subject teachers about you guys not carrying your books. Maintain proper decorum and discipline in the class. I am trusting you guys because I know you guys are old enough now to fulfill these small duties. I will appoint the class monitors at the end of the week after seeing your performances in the first week tests and other activities including your discipline."

"Also the way you are seating today is how you guys will sit from now onwards. Be nice to your benchmates." Saying this she moved out of the classroom and I sighed as I have to sit with Naksh 😩.

On the other hand, Naksh was giggling at me and I just glared at him.

"So Prerna Arora huh? Beautiful name. I hope I will get inspiration from you." He said to me to which I just rolled my eyes.

I looked at Sachit who was laughing and talking with Samaira. My heart ached and I turned my head away not able to see him with her anymore.

Maybe Naksh noticed my mood and didn't irritate me anymore. The first day went okay-okay.

I mentally thought that maybe Naksh is not so bad.
