"It is about Ayaka and yours' relationship, Y/N. We have to talk."

'Well... this is unexpected.'

Y/N thought while leaning on the balcony to gaze at the ocean, with Ayato standing next to him in a rather calm manner. Neither of them had said a word, just silently watching the full moon, shining its beautiful light down on them. They had went through what they had to say, and Y/N felt a little... conflicted.

"Ayato... you know I pledge my absolute loyalty and service to the Yashiro Commission, but... isn't this going too far?"

The man in question turned to his side and looked at Y/N, his light blue hair swaying with Inazuma's midnight breeze. Adorning his face, was a small curve of his lips, resembling a smile.

"What made you think it is too overwhelming, dear Y/N?"

Faced with his retortion, Y/N's expression hardened, staring at him with a deadpanned look.

"Taking your sister out on fake dates wouldn't seem to be a request I hear often from you."

He leaned his chin on top of his hands, being supported by the wooden rails gave him a perfect opportunity to tease his childhood friend even more.

"Last I remembered, she called you 'dear' like it was her nature, little brother~"

"Last I remembered, she called you 'dear' like it was her nature, little brother~"

Y/N's face reddened at the mere mention of that specific playdate they had, one that was supposed to be drowned in the sands of time, never to arise a second time.

"...I thought we all agreed to never remind that again."

Ayato merely smiled, still looking at him with that same smug expression. Y/N really didn't want to remember it right now, as he was certain it was embarrassing for both sides. Sure, back when they were kids, he didn't pay much attention to it, but now at the age of maturity... small trip ups like such could cause a larger impact than an innocent roleplaying session.

"Right, I apologize. But back to the subject at hand, what I need you to do now is almost similar to what you had done back then."

"You realize this is much more than just playing with sand?"

"Then transform it into what you would do on a normal date, genius. Late night walks on the beach, stargazing, holding hands, cuddle..."

As Ayato continued to list all the actions Y/N must execute, his mind wandered off into another world of its own. Scenarios of said activities began playing out in his head, with Ayaka being in the frame...
