(3rd Person POV...)

The four had just returned to Kamisato Estate, trying their best to stay hidden, as every single one of them is now a fugitive in the eyes of eternity. Childe, of course, had to negotiate with a few Shogunate soldiers, just to ensure their way back was cleared from danger. Once Ayaka laid eyes upon the blonde Traveler and her floating companion, she lowered her fan and approached them, expecting that there was nothing too serious.

"Traveler, Paimon. Welcome back." Ayaka's smile was warm and gentle, a complete contrast to Lumine and Paimon's somber expression. She was confused, at first, but then the princess' collected form soon broke into panic and worry when she laid eyes upon the unmoving body their honored guest was carrying.

"Zhongli-sama..? Was that.." She quietly asked the consultant, albeit knowing the final answer he was about to give. Zhongli said nothing, but gave her a slight nod. Her face soon grows paler than her own hair color, as her mind fully rushed into panic mode. She ordered every single servant that is available, as well as their own personal physician, to take care of her injured swordsman. The Kamisato Estate was chaotic that night.

It has been a few hours ever since, with Paimon constantly hovering around in anxiety. Her friend might not make it out alive, and it terrifies her. Y/N has been an essential part of their Liyue journey, and she couldn't even fathom the possibility of him dying just a few days back home.

"Kamisato-sama, Traveler. We have finished." The Kamisato's private physician, Emma, spoke out after she entered the space. Her knowledge and mastery over foreign medicine made her a very valuable ally, an honor for the Kamisato to invite into their Estate.

"How's Y/N!?? Is he okay!??" Paimon spoke out firsthand, voice laced in concern for her second best friend of all time. He wasn't fairing all that well initially, when Zhongli carried him out of the Plane of Euthymia with deep red and black splotches scattered all over his once stainless attire.

"The good news, Paimon-san, is that he'll be okay. His wounds aren't something that I'm unfamiliar with. However..." Emma lets out a brief sigh, which only makes everyone more concerned.

"His corneas suffered from a considerably heavy burn. Probably due to his direct clash with Shogun-sama."

"Huh?? What does that mean? Is it bad??" Their white floating companion's expression seems to tense up, while Lumine's and the others seems to be in disbelief.

"Paimon... he's blind." Ayato decided to speak out firsthand, not wanting to further delay the inevitable. Y/N is now rendered useless for the time being, and he wanted to get it out of his chest as quickly as possible.
