Over the next few days, Pan observed everyone, Eve was being more honest and cared about her grades more, Jay acted more like a team player and not a loner, and Carlos cared about school and dogs and making friends.

They were changing.

The only one who had yet to change remotely was Mal. But that wouldn't last for much longer.

Pan was walking with Ben as Ben talked about his day, which Pan mostly tuned out until a certain purple-haired girl crossed their path.

Mal had just been walking through the halls when she came upon Ben and Pan.

Ben immediately became overwhelmed with joy as he smiled and began talking to her.

"Hey, Mal. What's up?" he asked as she glanced between Ben and Pan.

"Nothing... you know... walking," she said sarcastically as Pan smirked at her response.

"Well, uh, I just wanted to ask if you would like to go on a date with me," Ben said, surprising both Mal and Pan as they looked at Ben with wide eyes.

"Ummm... sure, why not?" Mal answered nervously as Ben's smile widened even more.

Pan's shock wore off as he narrowed his eyes in anger.

"Great, I'll stop by your room around 2?" Ben asked as Mal nodded.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds good," she said, trying to mask her nervousness.

"Fantastic. Well, there are some things I need to do before our date, so I'll see you later," Ben said, walking around her.

"Ok," Mal answered.

"See ya, Parker," Ben called out as Pan put up a fake smile.

"Yeah, see ya later," he said as Ben walked away.

Once Ben was gone, Pan let his fake smile drop.

"I don't like this. This is a terrible idea," he said as he began to walk away, with Mal rushing to follow.

"What? Why not? It gets us closer to the wand. You were on board with the plan, but now you're against it? What gives?" Mal said, confused and frustrated, as they went outside and began to walk across the grassy field.

"Ben has this... way about him. He can get people to turn good just by being in his presence. He got me to stop being bad for four whole months before you got here," Pan said as Mal looked at him doubtfully.

"There's no way. That's not possible," she denied shaking her head.

"Mal, I've seen him do it. You get too close to him, and he's going to turn you good," Pan warned, stopping as he looked at Mal, who scoffed.

"Please. I'm the daughter of Maleficent, the Mistress of Evil. There is no way that I would turn good. I'm rotten to the core," she stated fiercely as her eyes glowed green, glaring at Pan, who didn't flinch or back down as he stared right into her eyes, his eyes glowing gold.

"I still don't like it," Pan said as he walked away, his eyes returning to their standard color, along with Mal's.

Mal laughed sarcastically, "What don't you like? That I'm going out with Ben?" she asked, making Pan stop as she stared at his back.

Mal stared at him, confused about why he was against this before it hit her. Her mouth dropped in shock as she scoffed.

"You like me. Your jealous," she stated as Pan turned around to look at her. He opened his mouth to deny her statement but couldn't as he let out a sharp breath.
