It's Official

Cassie wakes up, happy. She nuzzles into the warm chest behind her and it holds her closer. She opens her eyes and looks up to see Volkov still asleep. She smiles and admires him which he responds with gently covering her face with his hand and pushing it away.

With that, he bursts into laughter. He gets up with a silly grin and helps her up. She changed into one of his shirts last night because all she had was her dress. They eat breakfast and talk. Cassie changes back into her dress to head home.
"I'm going to head home to change and... talk to Magnus. Afterwards, though, I'll come back here and we can look for my brother? Or I guess your dad?" Cassie asks as Volkov picks her up.

"Absolutely," He grins and kisses her.
Cassie eventually leaves, borrowing Volkov's car. As she's getting changed in her room, Magnus walks into her apartment.
"Babe? Is Volkov here?" He calls down the hall to her partly opened bedroom door.
"No, I borrowed his car because I didn't have mine!" She calls back.

"Wait, you spent the night at his place?"
"Yeah, the gala got shot up and I was too exhausted to fight him... Also, I need to talk to you about something," Cassie says walking out of her room with a duffel bag.
"What's up?" He says getting himself some apple juice.

"I think... we should break up. I've grown to have feelings for Volkov and I don't want to be unfair to you."
He stares at her, "Seriously?"
"Yeah..."

"I do need to go to Volkov's house though. I have his car plus we're going to find Danny together, wanna join?"
"I'd love too," Magnus responds helping her off the stool.

She leaves her duffel bag and they take separate cars. Cassie tells Magnus to wait to come in until she has a chance to talk to Volkov. He agrees and waits outside Volkov's apartment. Cassie walks in and find him in his office.

"Can we talk?" Cassie asks going around his desk and sitting on his lap in a straddling position.
"Sure, what's up?" Volkov asks with his thick Russian accent.
"I... still have feelings for Magnus. I have feelings for you too, I can't choose... he suggested maybe a threesome, of course if you don't-"

"Not sure, he left shortly after you fell asleep," Volkov responds sitting up next to Cassie.
"Oh," is all she says before getting up and getting in the shower.

Afterwords, she gets into another one of Volkov's shirts and joins him on the couch downstairs. They snuggle and watch movies till Magnus gets back, which is late. Cassie glares at him and he sighs.
"I'm sorry," He states, very genuine in his apology.
"For what exactly?" Cassie taunts.

"For not staying. It was your first time and I know you like the after care a lot too. I wanted to stay, truly, but I had a lot of things to do today..."
He says proudly, gently tugging a puppy out from around the corner. Cassie's entire face lights up as the puppy trots over. Cassie picks her up and snuggles her. Volkov grins down at the two adorable little creatures in his arms. Magnus grabs a few bags from around the corner too, causing Cassie's eyes to light up even more. She looks between Volkov and then Magnus and then back to Volkov.

"We're moving in?!" She exclaims excitedly at her new realization.
Volkov grins and nods his head. Cassie hugs him and gives him a kiss.
