Simon Riley as dad would be like:

- [ ] Honestly he's petrified and didn't sleep for days because he was nervous.
- [ ] on the third day he made a promise to himself and his unborn baby - that he would never be like his dad. That's a promise he was going to keep.
- [ ] He got way more cautious on deployments, because now he really had something to live for.
- [ ] Surely he loved you with every fiber in in his body, he always wondered why you had wanted him. Surely there was better person for you.
- [ ] He was always worried about having kids, because of his mental issues. He also didn't want to give them his various health problems. Like his high blood pressure.
- [ ] You reassured him that everything would be okay and he didn't have to worry.
- [ ] During you pregnancy you constantly felt sick and just had the worst fatigue. Your feet would swell so bad and you were miserable.
- [ ] He just wanted to help you, but he didn't know how. His main goal was keeping you happy and healthy.
- [ ] Months into your pregnancy his mental got worse and had to seek out therapy, his mood swings were horrible.
- [ ] But you stood by his side the entire time, you knew he had issues and this is what you signed up for.
- [ ] The first time he heard the baby's heartbeat, he looked over at the ultrasound tech confused. Which caused you to worry.
- [ ] "Are you sure that we're not having twins?" He asked confused, and your mouth dropped.
- [ ] So they tech checked and turns out the both of you were welcoming twins.
- [ ] He threw you a mischievous smirk and you playfully slapped his arm.

It was finally time to welcome the twins into the world, to say that the both of you were nervous was an understatement. Simon was panicking the whole time, on the way there and inside the hospital room.  "What if we forgot something" he asked you while sitting beside your beside table. You knew you didn't forget anything BECAUSE he was the one who packed the bag.  Naturally you calmed back down and went through the diaper bag again.  Once he calmed down the nurses alerted you that your family was waiting outside. You thanked the nurses and turned towards your husband and grabbed his hand. He looked up at you and you could see the wheels  in his head moving.
"What's the matter baby?" You asked and gave his hand a kiss. He shook his head but you knew something was bugging him by the way he acted. He had his hood over his head because he didn't want to scare the babies with his balaclava.
"Simon honey. What's wrong?" You asked again a bit more forceful this time.

" Easy tiger, I'm okay. Jus' thinking that's all." He rubbed his eyes and finally spoke.
"I just wish mom was here that's all." You felt your heart sank, and he gave you a chaste kiss on the lips and headed towards the bathroom. you called the nurse back and asked to keep the family away.

This was yours and his moment.
