The next day, Meredith showed up at the hospital with coffee for her and Addison. The older woman raised an eyebrow, smirking"Are you trying to suck up?" She inquired.
"Maybe" the blonde laughed. Addison gladly took the coffee from Meredith" Thank you"
"No problem" the intern said happily before walking away.
Addison smiled to herself and she then heard someone clear their throat very loudly. She didn't even have to look up from her chart to see who it was
" What now Mark?" she sighed."You're soft on her. You like her" He said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes" Say it any louder will you? Also I'm not soft on her I just don't need to repeat to her 10 times what she needs to do, she's actually good."
"You're not denying it" Mark quipped right back."If you tell anyone about it, you're as good as dead you hear me?" She whispered sharply. He just smirked and nodded. He was just happy that she want living in complete denial anymore.
The surgery that the women had that afternoon went rather well. But the patient still has to be monitored closely and Addison decided she wouldn't take a chance and go home, she'd simply head into an on-call room and try to get some sleep there.
"You can go home and get some sleep" the attending said to Meredith. The intern shook her head"No, i'll stay too. She's also my patient." Addison looked at her and sighed. She knew she wouldn't get her way with Meredith, she couldn't resist her. The surgeon gave in
"Fine. I'm going to on-call room 2 to try and get some rest. You're welcome to bunk with me if you want to or to do your own thing, it's up to you. All I know is that I'm tired as hell."
Meredith smiled"I'll join you in a minute." The redhead nodded. She made her way to the room and as soon as she closed the door, she pulled back the blanket and collapsed on the bed. Addison didn't even have the strength to put the blankets on herself. Almost as soon as she closed her eyes, she was asleep.

Meredith had decided to grab herself a few snacks in the vending machines and her phone and charger from her locker. She was on her way to the on-call room, she was intercepted by none other than Derek Shepherd.
"Meredith" he called out and it stopped her in her tracks. She turned to him with a neutral face"What do you want?" She says coldly.
"You've been hanging out with my wife but yet you can't even look at me what is that?"
" Well your wife was nice enough to tell me the truth." Derek sighed and looked down" For whatever its worth, I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you the way I did. I made terrible choices. And you were a victim of it. I just hope someday we could be friends. It doesn't have to be now. But it would be nice if we could be."
Meredith looked at him, simply shocked. She then just turned around and left. She couldn't believe the audacity this man had. It angered her.
She finally got to the on-call room and when Meredith walked in, she found an already fast asleep Addison. The woman must've been so tired that she hadn't even covered herself. The blonde smiled and dropped her snacks on the bed facing Addison's and made her way towards the sleeping woman to tuck her in.
Meredith then sat on the other bed and opened her bag of Cheetos. She ate quietly as she played on her phone, glancing over at Addison every now and then.

Addison woke up after what felt like a few minutes. She shuffled around in the bed until she realized Meredith was on the bed across the room looking at her.
