As I walked the streets, navigating my way around the winding roads, I found myself thinking about her sweet lips, the way they melted and molded with mine.

And then a though flashed into my mind, Annabell.

I pulled out my phone and saw 30 new text messages 45 missed calls and 25 voice mails.

Scrolling through most of my texts, many were from Annabell, there were a couple from Alex and then the most recent text was one from Jesa.

"Jake, what happened this morning was amazing, I really do like you.... And I hope you weren't just still hyped up on the pain medicine, We should go out sometime, I'd love to go on a date with you just let me know when.

~Jesa"

I smiled knowing she thought about me and enjoyed what had just happened, and although things weren't right. I really did like her.

Incoming Call: Alex

Without hesitation, I answered.

"Hello?"

"Oh my fucking god Jake! We have been worried sick about you all night I can't believe you would do this to us, we were scared out of our minds that something fucking happened to you! You fucking douche! Where the fuck have you been?"

"Alex calm down alright, I was at a friend's I'll be there in a bit alright"

"Jake, Annabell's been worried sick about you!"

"Don't Alex, don't talk to me about her, I don't wanna hear anything about her alright"

"Jake?" It was Annabell this time, and I heard her voice tremble.

When I didn't respond she sniffled and said "Why? Why Jake? I was so worried, I didn't know what had happened to you!"

She had already called me once, and I didn't want to talk to her, I wanted that moment with Jesa to last.

I walked slower this time, and that's when I saw a guy on a skateboard coming towards me.

He looked my age, he had dark brown hair, with blonde around his face, and when he looked up at me our eyes met, his eyes were green mixed with some hazel.

He stopped as he got closer to me, just looking at each other for a while, his face reminded me of someone but I couldn’t quite remember who.

As I stepped aside, he rolled past me and I heard the sound of the skateboard fading, I didn't start walking again, until there was no sound from anything.

(Sometime later)

When I finally got home I was exhausted, I went into the kitchen, grabbed a can of Arizona Watermelon flavor and plopped myself on the couch.

From what I could tell no one was home, as I glanced around the room, that's when I saw it.

The answering machine was blinking, there was a new message.

I quickly got up and pressed play.

"Mr.Price, this is very important and regards case 114 call me back as soon as possible"

I stepped away cautiously, not wanting to make a sound afraid, that the person on the voice mail would hear me, after realizing that wasn't possible, I relaxed.

Uncle Henry still has time until he comes back, if this number calls again I will answer!
