Cutting Away The Pain

Chapter 8

"Hey Bestfriend what did you wan to talk to me about?" Alex was already sitting down when I walked into the flying saucer "Alex, you know I love you man your like my brother and well when I was walking to detention I saw Deliliah with her friends and she was talking bad about you and how she was just using you to get some otter guy jealous" I decided to leave out the fact that the guy was me I knew it would hurt him alot more. "Jake,how could you?" "What are you talking about?" I was so confused,

"You're my Bestfriend why would you lie, you know how I feel about her" "Alex you are my Bestfriend why would I ever possibly lie to you I wouldn't risk it" was Alex really gonna turn against me too?

"Jake, I want to believe you but what I felt when I was with her and I won't let you ruin this for me I'm sorry I can't take a chance" this wasn't happening no Alex wasn't trading our friendship for a girl, we always promise we would never let this happen and yet he was doing it he was leaving me his brother practically for a girl I knew was just using him

"Come on Alex, I would never lie to you are you really gonna throw away our friendship, I heard her Alex she was just usin you I've never lied to you before why won't you fucking believe me?" i could feel the back of my eyes burning, I couldn't control that one tear the slipped my eye without permission "Jake I'm sorry but I can't let her go"

I knew what I had to do. "So what does this mean a girl is more important then our friendship?" I waited and he didn't answer I knew, I started to get up when he grabbed my arm, I pulled it away and he was gonna say something "That silence said it all, but when she breaks your heart know that I'll always be here for you wether your choosing her over me" I walked out more tears escaping.

As I left I knew that from that day on our friend ship would never be the same again especially if he was going to be choosing girls over our friendship, a friendship we worked soo hard to keep. I rolled back to my house I knew I still needed to clean up the house so I took a longer route.

When I got home the house was spottless and there was a note on the counter

               “Jake,

             there was no reason for you to clean a mess from a party you didn’t throw so I cleaned the house and im going to stay over at Becca’s house ill see you at school tomorrow.

                                                                                 Annabell”

Maybe this was a good thing I would have some time to think and that Is exactly what I needed. I went up to my room the house was quiet it gave me an uneasy feeling so I turned my speakers on and put my ipod full blast it was that song “We Are Young by Fun ft. Janelle Monae”

“Ugh Annabell, she confused our ipods again and put her music on mine.”I didn’t bother to change the song I opened my window and climbed on top of the roof I layed back and found myself singing along with the song I found myself drifting off to sleep and before I knew it everything went black.

　

(A few hours later)

I was woken up by a loud sound , I realized I was still on the roof. I climbed inside my window and walked down stairs to see a dark figure standing outside the front door.The figure banged the door again.

I turned on the hall light and walked to the door, I opened it and saw a police officer standing there with a serious look on my face and automatically my mind went straight to Annabell.

“Are you Jake Anderson?”
