"Jin, we don't know how to roller-skate." Navya laughed at her boyfriend as the two stood in line at a roller-skating rink. Several amazing skaters whizzed around the track and the amateurs were left to fend for themselves as they clung to the wooden rails surrounding the track. Navya had no doubt that the both of them would be in the same predicament.

The last time the two had been in a skating rink was years ago on their first date, and that ended with both of them toppling unto each other in a flustered heap.

"Nuh uh," Jin shook his brunette head, "I've been practicing."

Navya scoffed, holding back a giggle at the thought of Jin being able to hold himself up on the wheely shoes. "When did you have time to practise?"

"With Namjoon," Jin hummed triumphantly, "you know how he likes his roller-skating."

The explanation made sense as Jin checked up with his friends weekly, hanging out at different locations. Navya felt slightly jealous that he would be better on the shoes than her, but she brushed the feeling off. "So how good are you now?"

Jin grinned as they reached the counter where they would pay. "You'll just have to see." He sent her a flirtatious wink and she rolled her eyes at the gesture.

"I still don't remember how to do these shoes up." Navya sighed as she attempted to pull the top laces tighter on the boots. The action made the laces tighter on her ankles and loose around her foot, which seemed like the perfect way to get herself into an accident.

Jin, who was in the middle of tying up his laces resolved to leave one lace undone so he could approach his girlfriend. "What's up?" He asked, having not heard her sigh over the music.

Navya looked at him and gestured towards the terribly tied shoe laces. "They're so difficult." She stated, showing him how the lace just wouldn't tighten like a normal shoe.

Sending her a small smile, Jin got down on his knees and leaned towards the shoe on her foot. "See," he began, "roller skating boots are taller than normal lace ups. The lace has to be longer, and therefore it won't retain the same consistent tautness throughout." With his long, slender fingers, he pulled apart the lace that constricted her ankles.

With skill, he pulled tight the lowest part of lace at the start of the tongue. "You have to start by pulling each part of the lace taut until you reach the top. Then your lacing will be even." Quickly, he managed to pull each part of the lace tightly into their holes and eventually he reached the top of the lace, which was still too long to make into a bow.

"What do you do with the rest of the lace?" Navya asked, showing him the remaining inches of shoe lace. "If I tie this into a bow now, it'll be too long and get stuck in the wheels."

Jin smiled, taking the lace from her. "Namjoon said," He pulled the lace around her calf, "That if the lace is too long, you simply tie it around your calf and then tie it into a bow." He pulled it into a bow, propping it up with his hands.

"See, it works every time." He showed her the small, neat bow at the top of her shoe. Navya was surprised by his knowledge, and wondered just how experienced he had become with the hobby.

Leaning down, she gave him a small kiss on his soft hair. "Thank you." She smiled.

Jin sent her a shiny grin. "You're welcome, but next time, if you're going to give me a thank you kiss, kiss me on the lips." He pressed his long finger against the pink, supple flesh of his lips. The sight of the luscious skin made Navya's face erupt into a lava pit of heat.
