Alb had always had this weird super power. She wasn't sure where she had gotten it from, and she'd never really told anyone about it, except her best friend, Jungkook.

They had met in the second grade. He was outgoing and she was more of an introvert. Either way, the two hit it off and became the best of friends, all the way into university. Alb had told Jungkook about her super power after she had had a vision of him getting mugged on his way home and forced him to stay over her house. Jungkook reluctantly stayed, and the vision came true, but someone else had fallen victim to it.

After that, Jungkook never questioned her ever again. He began telling her that with her power she could become a super hero, like Iron Man. Alb had brushed the idea off, but her visions continued.

They were always about small and insignificant things and would come suddenly, like someone riding their bike into a neighbour's fence, or someone else tripping over a classmate as they ran to class. Seeing how they were so trivial, Alb never acted upon them.

At least, until the day she was driving along and had the most frightening vision she had ever seen. The picture drew itself up in the corners of her mind so vividly it caused Alb's heart to cease.

The vision was bloody. There was blood everywhere, spread all across the gruesome scene. A large car was stopped by a pedestrian crossing, its bumper covered with the silhouette of a human's body. Horrified, Alb could hear the ambulances in the distant corners of her mind, along with the persistent screaming.

Absolutely horrified by the vision, Alb told Jungkook about it, sobbing through her explanation of what had happened. Jungkook hugged her closely as she wept and told her there was really nothing she could do if the person got hit, seeing as though she hadn't seen their face in the vision. He told her everything was going to be fine, but she knew, somewhere deep down that something terrible was about to occur.

Not long after having the vision, Alb was running with Jungkook on the way to college.

"Jungkook! Wait up!" Alb giggled as she ran after her friend, who had suggested they play tag a while back.

"Slow poke!" Jungkook snickered back at her, sticking his tongue out as she chased after him. He rounded a bend of buildings by the main road they were to cross, and went out of Alb's line of sight.

She giggled at the thought of catching up to him, but was abruptly stopped in her tracks upon hearing a loud screech of brakes.

The vision all came back to her within an instant, and her eyes widened. It can't be Jungkook! It can't! She bounded around the corner after her friend. When she reached the intersection they were to cross, her eyes felt as if they were fire within their sockets.

The sight before her was gruesome, just as it had been in her dream. Blood was everywhere and pedestrians had come to look; some screaming at the horrific scene before them. Alb's ears rung loudly inside of her head as she looked at the boy lying limp on the road beside the bumper of the car that had hit him. Holding him was an older woman, crying loudly as she tried her best to conceal his wounds.

"Jungkook!" Alb screeched, alerting the woman of her presence as she bounded to her friend's side. It was upon coming closer that Alb realised the woman was her mother.

"He saved me, Alb!" The woman cried as tears filtered their way down her mascara covered eyes. Alb kept her eyes on Jungkook's face the whole time, and her heart beat hard in her chest when she noticed his eyes looking towards hers.

They looked sad, apologetic almost as they gazed at hers. Her tears couldn't contain themselves as she reached out to grab his face, cradling it within her hands. "Why Jungkook?!" She cried, "Why?!" Sirens wee-owed their way through the streets as they came closer, and the sound blared into her ears.

His hand slowly and painfully made its way to her face, and his lips cracked into the smallest smile. "Because, I saw my own vision." He explained, coughing in pain as he continued, "I saw, the prettiest, cutest, sweetest girl come to my side after the accident. She is my best friend, but I love her so, so much. I wish we could be more."

Alb's mouth slowly upturned at the confession, "Jungkook-"

"I love you, Alb. I've loved you for so long." He wheezed, "Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

Before Alb could speak, the paramedics had arrived unto the scene, ready to take Jungkook away. One lay his hand on Alb's shoulder as she watched the others take her friend. "Is he going to be alright?" Alb asked, and the paramedic nodded.

"The bleeding is severe, but the wounds are quite mild. He may need a blood transfusion." He answered.

Alb could only watch in sadness as her friend, who had just confessed to her was dragged away and she hadn't even said yes.

3 weeks later

"Why did you run out on the street, you stupid!" Alb scolded Jungkook as she smacked him on the arm.

The older boy laughed, "I already told you, I had a vision too."

Alb frowned. "You have visions too?"

"Yeah, I've had them since I was young, a lot like you." He explained, "When you told me about yours, I kind of felt like we were kindred spirits."

"Why didn't you tell me, then?" Alb asked, frustrated and ready to smack him in a playful manner again.

Jungkook shrugged, "Either way, even if I didn't, I still would have saved your mom."

"Oh, and, about what I said - though it wasn't very classy to say in an emergency like that – do you want to be my girlfriend?" Jungkook asked, his eyes not meeting hers as they glanced nervously around the hospital room.

There was a short period of silence before Alb threw her arms around Jungkook's neck, embracing him tightly.

"Of course I will."
