"Girl your getting out of the house!! Come on" Xuri grabs clothes out of my closet.

"No I don't feel good" I cover my head up.

"I know that's why we're going out" she says in a duh voice.

"No" i stale face her.

She uncovers me and pulls me out of bed.

"Did you shower?" She smells me.

"Yeah you did you smell good" she grabs my clothes and gives them to me.

"No what is this outfit" I hold up the tube top and jean shorts.

"It's warm outside" she says and I mug her.

"Girl barely anything finna be covered" I say and she nods.

"That's the point" she sits down.

"Now get dressed" she shoos me and I roll my eyes before going and putting it on.

"These are booty shorts" I come out pulling them down and looking in my full body mirror.

"They're cute" she smiles and I shake my head.

"Ima put pants on" I walk to my closet.

"Nooo, we gotta go. Put your J's on & let's go" she puts my shoes in my hand.

"K then" I put my shoes on and we go out and start walking.

"Where we going anyways?" I ask and she smiles.

"The beach with the basketball court" she says and I stop walking.

"Thats a fucking long walk" I say and she nods.

"You made me put on J's" I say and she nods.

"Ima kill yo ass" I start back walking.

"Ok" she laughs.

We keep walking until we get to the court and I instantly sit down.

"I genuinely hate you" I squint at her.

"Fuck me better then" she says and I mug her.

"Ain't you wit DZ get him to do it" I say and she shakes her head.

"He found somebody else" she looks around.

"Damn I'm sorry" I say and she shrugs.

"Oh there she is" she jumps up and smiles as a girl starts walking up to us.

"Heyyy giiirl" Xuri gets up and hugs the girl.

"This is Lani" she brings her over.

"Hii, I'm Kayla" she smiles and puts her hand out to shake.

"You're so pretty" I smile back.

"Thank you, you're really pretty too" she says before sitting by me.

"I met kayla at a lil kickback a few weeks ago and Lani is my bestie at school and stuff" she says letting us both know.

"Oh ok" we both say at the same time and start laughing.

"Ok ima go talk to that fine ass dark skin tho so ima catch ya" Xuri throws up dueces and walks away.

"She always doin that?" Kayla asks and I nod.

"Yeah... so where do you go to school" I ask.

"I just moved here but I'm enrolling in Parker Wilson High School that just taking they long ass time" she rolls her eyes and I laughs.

"Yeah that's we're we go and they ghetto so they is finna take they sweet time. PKW look nice but the people ghetto as hell" I say and she laughs at me.

"Good to know, now I know what to expect" she nods still laughing a lil.

"How old are you?" I ask.

"Ima be sixteen next month" she smiles.

"Oooo ok i see you comin up with the sweet sixteen" I hype her up and she laughs.

"Girl it ain gonna be nun big if anything I'm prolly gonna chill or babysit or sum" she shrugs.

"No we have to do something it's your sweet sixteen you can't just 'chill' we gon find sum to do" I say and she nods and laughs.

"Whatchu like to do" I ask tryna figure out what we can do.

"I like food and movies, and the outside, I love swimming, and the beach" she smiles looking up and talking like she genuinely cares about these interests.

"Ok ima brain storm" I say.

"Can I get dem digits" I hold my phone up and she laughs and nods.

She grabs my phone and puts her number in and saves herself then gives my phone back.
