Christmas morning comes and it feels like it's snuck up on everyone. Well the three adults anyway. Bright and way too early, the six teens spring into action, popping in a Christmas carol cassette and making it their goal to annoy the three draped on and around the Loveseat awake.
Robin, happily curled up with a blanket is the first to wake of the three, kicking at whatever child it is poking at her cheek with a deathly glare. She looks to the men behind her and can't help but smile as she shoos the kids away from the pair that remain happily entangled.
Steve and Eddie somehow managed to lay down on the small seat. Eddie's one leg hanging off the side, foot firmly planted on the floor, his other bent at the knee and pressed to the back of the couch, dark curls a mess around his head and shoulders, he quietly hums into each breath. Steve lays on Eddie's chest, nose buried into his neck and sea of curls, legs contorted in some way that allows him to still be sat completely on the two cushions. Strong tattooed arms wrap around his back and shoulders, holding him close while one hand tangles into his hair, carefully holding his head in place. Steve's own hands hold Eddie close, one tucked under the man's shirt, firmly gripping his ribs, while his other simply wraps around a shoulder, holding him in place.
It's sweet and it's beautiful and it's intimate and Robin will literally kill anyone who wrecks it. She ushers the six gremlins into the Dining Room, sternly sitting them all down as she speaks, "Okay Devil Children, I love you all, Merry Christmas, but if anyone purposely wakes up those two I will make sure this is your last. So be mindful, let's maybe keep busy anywhere but the Living Room."
Mike sighs rolling his eyes, "Why does it even matter if we wake those two up?"
A myriad of voices all speak at once in a whisper shouted tone, "Are you kidding me!?"
Mike shrugs, expression indifferent
Everyone looks at him dumbfounded as Max pulls the clipboard from her side and settles it on the table sliding it over to him
He raises an eyebrow as if asking, what's this have to do with anything?
"Mike!-" Dustin yells a little too loudly, forcing a grumble and snore from the living room, "-Like 90% of what we've been doing this week has been to get those two together.-" the kid shakes his head in disbelief, "-Dude where were you?"
Mike shrugs again, shaking his head, "Not here apparently. So like-" he glances quickly at Will, his cheeks reddening, "-You're alright with those two being together?"
Everyone shares a confused glance, eyes all darting between Will and Mike at least once as they all seem to answer in unison, "Duh."
"Huh-" Mike hums, seemingly satisfied, tapping the clipboard with his finger, "- So this whole thing was to get those two-," he points behind himself, motioning to the pair on the Loveseat on the other side of the wall, "-together?"
Everyone nods
The young man's uncharacteristically quiet after that, continuing to look between Will and their shared group of friends, mouth occasionally opening as if he wants to say something but he never does. A nervous look cements itself across his face as he silently settles in.
Robin knows that look, she's had it many times herself. She makes a mental note to tell Eddie to have a conversation with the kid, at the very least to convey to the moody teen that certain things are okay and it's okay to like certain people.
After that interesting interaction between The Party, Robin somehow manages to get everyone quieted down and organised in the kitchen to properly make breakfast for everyone. Mainly her and Max work side by side making non-personalized pancakes, Robin making the executive decision to put all chocolate chips and blueberries on the side because, "I'm not Steve, I don't love you that much."
