Chaos in The Kingdom.

Chapter 1.

Tang is a prosperous city in which the people thrive and live in unity.The king,Sunk Jong ruled fairly and justly among the people.Ruling for so many years,the city of Tang became remarkable.

Lee and Geum are the only sons of king Sunk jong.Their father king Sunk Jong,always tell them to be considerate towards each other.No one is inferior or superior to other.Their mother Queen Seo, teached them the ways of life and moral values of the society.As for their father,he taught them both what kind of man they could be and what to do with their life.For their older son, pPrince Lee,they made him a scholar who studied books from all corners of the world.

Prince Lee has no intention of becoming a soldier, he prefers reading to fighting, and he is fond of learning everything there is to know about the universe and its inhabitants.Prince Lee's friends like to call him the "sorcerer",and it is because of this title that the King appointed Prince Lee as the official royal wizard of Tang.For two boys born to two noble families in a small country of Tang,the role of leafer seems to have been destined for their future.Prince Lee will become king someday, but he doesn't mind being a scholar for as long as he lives.

For Prince Geum and his father Prince Sunk Jong,who are considered as the strongest rulers among Tang,their roles are destined for their deaths.Prince Sunk Jong died after a long illness,so that Prince Geum can take his place in the throne and continue to rule over the kingdom.Prince Geum, on the other hand,will die in battle before a single year goes by,so that Prince Lee can succeed him and lead the kingdom of Tang to glory.So you can see how fate was meant for these two princes.But why are they destined for their death?Well....It is very common for the two boys to fight with each other.

They never get along at all because the two of them want different things in life and neither knows what the other wants.This makes them enemies to their own parents and to outsiders.The reason for such situation is simple.Prince Geum has always been a lazy person,while prince Lee has always had a hard time staying focused.This means that even though they are brothers,both princes are incapable of working together for long periods of time.In order for them to survive,they need to work together.

This also explains why they often bicker in public like children.It is not uncommon to see one twin sitting in front of another while they are trying to eat their food.Prince Geum would always try to get his brother's portion first and Prince Lee would always try to get him to finish his share first.It would be strange if two boys of different races were raised in the same family and acted much alike.

It wouldn't be surprising if Prince Geum got mad at the sight of Prince Lee and tried to push him away.And yet...they are still brothers.Prince Geum and his brother Lee are supposed to be living in harmony and yet they don't get along very well at all.The solution is simple: they will have to change the way they think and treat each other for they will be ruling over this world soon.They have to make up for past wrongdoings and learn to behave towards each other in order to help the people of Tang become great once again.

That is why their father King Sunk Jong chose Prince Lee as the official supervisor if the trade affairs of Tang and Prince Geum as the official in charge of military arms.If it weren't for the fact that they love each other dearly, they might never be able to accept their responsibilities and the role they will play within this generation of the ruler of Tang.

When Prince Geum and Prince Lee were young,King Sunk Jong and the people of Tang decided that they wanted to make new generations better than the previous ones by allowing each of them a unique talent.The two brothers started a war when they were eight years old,during which both fought each other and the people of Tang. Both boys won,of course.However, when their father King Sunk Jong heard the news of how their battles turned out,he decided to give each boy a task,which is why the two now sit at opposite ends of the table.

While they don't talk much,they still manage to find something to say to each other at every mealtime and they always look for a chance to tease each other and annoy each other. It may be silly, but at least they are enjoying themselves right now and can laugh at how silly they both are without feeling guilty for doing it.

The idea was proposed to the whole world and the two princes were given special privileges for it. However...this arrangement did nothing to improve the brothers' relations.Instead, they became worse instead.Now, although Prince Geum is the youngest and should have more respect for his older brother, he always tries to undermine Prince Lee's authority and control the court.

To put this simply...if Prince Lee wasn't King Sunk jong's favorite son,he would definitely die during this war.He is the main reason behind the downfall of Tang since he is the most favored of his father.Ofcourse, this has nothing to do with any love between the princes,it is just common sense.Since the two princes are rivals and have to compete against each other,they must constantly fight and kill each other.It seems they have to use poison or knives and other similar methods to kill each other in order to win.

Lee believe this tradition is foolish and immoral while Geum thinks otherwise.

One day,prince Geum sent for his elder brother lee to come see him so they could play together like before.Prince Lee unaware of Geum's evil intentions,agreed to meet him.When he reached the chamber where his younger brother was waiting for him, Geum grabbed him by his collar and dragged him into the room.With a cold glare in his eyes,he told his brother, "Lee, I want to give you a little present."Then,geum took something out from his sleeve. It looked like a knife,but Prince Geum knew that this knife is deadly and capable of making people lose all their strength in an instant.Even princes fear the blade.Geum told Lee the name of this weapon,then pressed the sharp point of the dagger to Lee's skin, cutting his palm open until it bled freely.

Then he said, "Your blood belongs to me,leech. Your life belongs to my kingdom. If you refuse to take your blood from me,I shall take your blood and you will turn into a leech too.You cannot run away like you always do. Do you understand?""Yes," Lee muttered as he felt himself getting dizzy and fainting from the pain he had endured.

As the Prince fainted, Geum continued to press the blade harder into his palm to draw his blood.Once the blood began flowing out,Geum held onto Lee's arm tightly to keep him upright, while letting a smile appear across his face. He watched carefully to see how his brother reacted.Lee was conscious now and he realized what was happening.

His face turned pale,his eyes grew large and he looked around for help,but none came.He didn't realize that he already lost all the power left in his body.Geum knew that his younger brother could do nothing.After draining Lee dry completely, he left his unconscious body on the floor to await his brother's awakening.

The next morning,Prince Lee regained consciousness and immediately noticed his wound and the blood dripping down from his hand.Panicking,he quickly gathered some cloth and bandages and wrapped it all around his bleeding palm.He couldn't let anybody see his weakness. He ran out of the room and headed straight for his bedroom.

His mother was still sound asleep. Prince Lee hurriedly dressed himself in clothes that didn't drip blood and went outside to wash his hands.He then headed to the garden and sat by the river.He was still trembling and shaking with rage. He hated Geum the moment he saw him holding the knife that would kill him.But he had no choice but to submit to him.It was his only choice. If he hadn't done that,Prince Geum probably would have killed him.

The next day,their mother came to visit prince Lee who were still recovering from his wounds.She asked him about how he is feeling and how he was faring in recovery.

"My wounds.....my wounds aren't healed yet but am able to move around quite comfortably.The doctors also managed to heal my wounds so there shouldn't be any problems when i go back to work. I can also get stronger so we can protect our land from the bad men who try to attack us."

"That's wonderful!" The Queen praised him greatly and wished he would be able to recover as quickly as possible so he wouldn't have to worry too much about it. The Queen then asked her oldest son what Prince Geum had said yesterday.He heard him say that they had to leave Tang and return.Why is that?" The Queen questioned her oldest son.

"The Prince is acting strangely today....I don't know what he is planning but it must be something big." He added.

The Queen nodded,he knew that Prince Geum's actions would only lead to trouble for the country one day.However, she was so concerned about her oldest son's health.
