I'm writing my babies again. I can't explain how happy I am about it either! VIC AND NIX SUPREMACY!!! No matter how many couple's I create these two hold  an extremely special place in my heart, Chris and Jess are a close second. But they need a ship name, drop some ideas. There's not a lot of Nix in this chapter but hey it's an update.

Friday night once again saw most of the Gilmore seated at the dinner table, the only one missing was Richard. The twins sat with their chins on their hand, staring at their dinner that they weren't allowed to eat yet.

"Mom." Lorelai pleaded staring at the food. "No." Emily denied quickly, glancing at Vic when her stomach rumbled. Vic had been so focused on club paperwork she had missed lunch, the only thing she had been able to eat was some fruit that Nix was able to sneak out of the cafeteria for the girl.

"We're starving." Lorelai protested gesturing to her youngest who blushed, despite being more confident in herself she still didn't like a lot of attention on herself. "We're waiting for your father." Emily stated firmly, leaving no room for argument, for anyone else that would have been enough.

"It's gonna get cold." Lorelai argued just as firmly. Then again she used this tone with her daughter who heard it so much growing up it no longer effected her. "We are waiting for your father." Emily stated again, Vic sighed looking at the food sadly.

"We've been waiting forever." The mother of two groaned dramatically. "We have not been waiting forever." Emily denied rolling her eyes at her daughter. "Forever. Godot was just here. He said I ain't waiting for Richard,' grabbed a roll, and left. It's been forever." Lorelai answered swiftly, they were all getting a little bit hangry.

"When we gather as a family, we eat as a family. We don't eat in shifts you know that and Richard certainly knows that." Emily stated looking at her daughter with her hands folded on the table. "When did he get that antique car anyhow?" Rory asked squeezing her twins arm to calm her down.

"A couple of horrible weeks ago." The twins grandmother said in despair, she was not fond of her husbands revolving door of new hobbies. "What happened to the oil painting hobby of his?" Vic asked trying not to focus on her growing hunger.

"Ah, you know your grandfather. When he couldn't foresee rivaling Cezanne, he lost interest so he bought that car. Lorelai!" Emily said, turning to her daughter when she noticed Lorelai putting something in her mouth.

Lorelai quickly spit out the candy she had pulled from her purse. "Mom, it's not dinner, it's just my private stash." Lorelai tried despite knowing that it wouldn't work. "It's eating and we're not eating." The eldest of the four ordered her daughter making her grand daughters sigh.

"You know, you're bound by the rules of the Geneva Convention, Mother, just like everyone else. Hey, no one told me it was casual Friday." Lorelai said putting the candy back into her purse before noticing Richard walk into the dining room.

"Hello everyone. You haven't started?" Richard questioned looking at the empty plates in front of his family. "Of course we haven't started, we were waiting for you. I thought you were almost done."  Emily said looking at her husband, trying to let her discomfort at her husbands attire show on her face.

"Well, I was but this car has a mind of its own. As I turned to leave it began spraying some sort of green solution at me." Richard explained, Vic looked at her grandfathers stained jumpsuit.  "Yuck." Rory said her face scrunching up while Vic nodded in agreement. "Yuck, indeed. Well, go on, start."

Vic grinned quickly starting to grab some food. "No sense waiting for me." Richard continued turning to leave the room. "Stop!" Emily ordered making Vic freeze, her face falling. Rory grabbed her twins hand in an attempt to comfort her. "Gomer said!" Lorelai protested, just like her youngest, she just wanted to eat.
