Filler Chapter
Charlie looked at his daughter as she was going through baby clothes. There was something that bothered him. "Alison?" She looked at him. "I'm not going to say anything about the baby, but the morning after pill, was it offered."
"It was, but the stupid doctor thought I couldn't get pregnant so he thought there was no use for the pill." She tells him. "And here I am."
Bella walked in and stopped seeing her dad and sister talk. Since she said the same thing her mother said. Bella broke Charlie's heart and he also lost his trust in Edward for how she left them. Alison started explaining more on the investigation with the doctor. So far, they don't know why he failed to give her the morning after pill besides his faith in her not being able to be pregnant.
Alison turned and stopped seeing Bella walk away. "Dad, maybe..."
"I'm not cutting slack." He says. "She left because of Edward and Edward is not welcomed here like Jasper."
"Okay." She says. "Goodnight, daddy. I'll see you in the morning."
Charlie smiled as she went upstairs. He walked to the phone and dialed Renee's number. "What are they going to do about the doctor?"
"He's losing his license. He refused to give a rape patient the pill because he thought she couldn't have children because of her irregular periods." Says Renee. "I hate that Alison is pregnant, but Jasper is there to help her."
Charlie smiled at the photo of Jasper and Alison smiling. "Yeah. He is there for our daughter and he loves her and the baby."
