His Alison

Sixteen

Jasper stood with his family as he listened. Edward walked in and decided to speak. "We're leaving. It's the only way to keep Alison and Bella safe."

"No." Jasper spoke up. "I'm not leaving Alison or that baby. She's close to her due date and I'm not going to leave her alone to have that baby by herself." He looked at the rest. "She warned us the first time she saw us leaving. She knew there was going to be a problem. What that was, we didn't know. Till now."

"Does she know it was the party?'

"Bella told her about last night." He tells them. "I refuse to leave Alison all because Edward thinks it's safe because it's not. They are safe if we stay."

No one else said a word as Jasper left. Jace already felt guilty enough, but he knew that Jasper was right and Alison would be smacking him. What happened wasn't his fault, it was her scent.

At school, Alison was putting her books away as she was getting ready for lunch. Jasper walked up to her locker and leaned against it. "They've decided to leave."

The blonde Swan looked at her boyfriend. "What do you mean?"

"They're leaving because of Edward's request, but I'm staying because of you and this baby."

Alison smiled as she hugged him. Bella saw Jasper and wondered where Edward was. Yet, seeing the smile on her sister's face had her smiling. Things have changed between them, but maybe her and Alison can go back to the way things were. For now, she needs to find Edward.

Jasper kissed Alison causing her to let a tear fall. He wasn't leaving. She pulled back with one thing to ask. "What about Bella?"

"After today, I'll be hiding." He says. "I will be at our place that I'm going to refix for us and the baby. I'll be at the main house still, but Bella won't know. She can't find out that I stayed."

"Okay." She says. "Go home, I'll be there after school."

Jasper nodded as he left. Alison shut her locker smiling as she wondered when things can move further for them. She's not rushing, but she knew that they would have to talk about it one day. For now, she has school, a baby, and Jasper to think about. Not what is happening. Just the ones she needs to worry about.
