His Alison

Twelve

Something about today had Alison worrying. She didn't want to go play ball because of that feeling she can't seem to get rid of. Jasper looked at her as she was looking at cribs. "Darlin', are you sure you want me to go?"

"Yes." She tells him as she looked away from the book to look at him. "You love baseball and if something is happens, you will be the first to call."

"You had this bad feeling..."

"My dreams. I saw red eyes and one is blonde. He will hunt my sister down and me since I would have been there."

"Nomads." She nodded. "Okay. If something happens, I will come straight to you."

"I'll be right here with daddy." She says. "Go have fun and be careful."

"I will."

Alison sat with her dad watching tv. "So, Jasper bought you two a house."

"It's for after graduation." She tells him. "He has accepted the baby and me."

"That's good." He says. "He seems like a nice boy."

"He is." Alison says. "What was your thought about Edward?"

Charlie gave her a look making the blonde laugh as she looked back at the tv. Nothing else was said as they watched the game. "You already know."

"Well you did threaten him instead of Jasper."

"I don't trust Edward."

"I'm a little iffy." She tells him. "He treats Jasper like he isn't the strongest."

"Ridiculous." Charlie says. "That boy holds himself like a soldier."

Alison smiled as she knew if her father knew who Jasper really was. They heard the door slam causing the father daughter duo to share a look. "Dad...."

"Stay. I'll see what is going on."

Alison nodded, but she watched the scene unfold. She heard every word her sister said to their father causing her to stare in shock and hurt. "Bella! What is your problem? Since you came here, you've been a total bitch." Alison says. "You shouldn't be saying the same shit to dad. He just got us and now you want to just leave."

"Be happy, Alison and I'm sorry for how I'm acting, but I can't just stay here."

"Then go and don't come back." She says as she walked over to her dad and hugged him as Bella looked back at her heartbroken father and sister.

Edward watch Jasper walk by him and then Bella. "You're not going to help?" Bella asked.

"I have someone who is more important to me and she's the only one I will protect." Jasper says.

Bella looked at Edward who shrugged not understanding why, but she knows he is right. Alison needs to be protected too. She sighed as she got in her truck and left.

Charlie opened the door to see if Bella actually left causing him to see Jasper. "She's in the living room."

Jasper nodded as he walked in and went straight to Alison. Charlie leaned against the wall as he watched Jasper hug Alison. Edward lost his trust, but not Jasper. He cares a lot for Alison. "I'm going to call Renee and let her know that Bella is going back to Arizona and that you are staying here."

"Okay." She says as he left to call her mother. "What happened?"

"Bella is being hunted because of her scent. You were right. Something was going down."

"She said awful things to dad..."

"I know, but I think you hurt her by telling her to not come back."

"She's changed since she met Edward." Alison tells him. "Let's not talk about it and watch some tv."

"What were you two watching?"

"The game if you want to finish watching with us."

"Sure."

Charlie walked back in to see his daughter and Jasper cuddled up while watching the game. He smiled as he knew that Jasper was in love with Alison. All he hopes is that he will never leave her like Edward and Bella.
