A/N: So, this is my first fan-fiction, please enjoy. I recently re-read the books and fell even more in love with them, then got super into all the fan fiction of thePJO/HOO series. Not going to lie, I dislike how Percy/Annabeth suposedly cheat in so many stories, so I wanted to make my own story. And I have no idea where this is going, so no promises. If I get a writers block, I'll give it to someone else, just a heads up. :)

A few days ago Lady Athena, the Godess of Wisdom, told me I had to go on a quest if I wished to go any further in my relationship with Annabeth. Of course I accepted, seeing as its not a very good thing to have such a powerful being hating your guts forever.
On this quest I was allowed two friends along with me, however it couldn't be Annabeth, and the rest of the 7 were busy with the camps or on Olympus, whilst Nico was helping his dad out in the Underworld for the week. Even though it's been two years since the Giant War, where they had Gaea helping them, not everything is sorted out yet. At least there's no more Octavian though!
The quest was relatively simple. So, I decided to take the Stoll brothers with me for a laugh, plus they aren't all that bad when you think about how bad they could be. All we had to do was retrieve a few items for Lady Athena, mainly books, and we were finished within a couple of days.
It was a long walk back to Camp Half Blood, so we decided to liven the journey up a bit. We raced from Orlando, Florida all the way over to New York. The finish line was outside my mother's apartment, just because I needed to catch up with her. I was winning the race, running along an old abandoned road just outside New York, with Connor 10 meters behind me, and Travis 5 meters behind him, catching up to his brother very gradually.
I saw a shortcut off to the side of the road about 25 minutes from the finish line. So, of course I decided to take said shortcut, being the idiot I am.
But thats when things went wrong...

I stood on the Big House porch when the two brothers appeared over the hill, passing Thalia's Tree, hence passing the border into the safety of camp. I ran over to them, happy because I was finally going to see Percy again. It had only been a few days since he left with them for the quest given by my mother, however I missed him. We had barely seen each other lately due to me still working on upgrading Olympus, and him training all the new demigods in sword fighting.
I got to them, when I realised they were missing Percy, confused I asked "Where is Percy? Wasn't he with you two?" Even though I new he was with them, and was half expecting him to run out of the trees and try surprise me, seeing as he knew I would wait for him.
"Um, Uhh, We kind of.." Connor started, drifting off towards the end.
"We were racing and-" Travis continued.
"He was winning..." Connor said, they continued speaking like this for a while, neither wanting to have to tell me on their own so relying on their brother for assistance when they couldn't continue any further.
"Then he ran off the path..."
"We went to the finish line, expecting him to be there"
"But, he wasn't..."
"We thought the shortcut he took maybe wasnt to quick"
"So we waited"
"But he never showed"
"We even asked his mum if he passed through, thinking the finish was camp"
"She hadn't seen him though"
"So we came here, in hopes he was here"
"I guess he isn't though..." Connor whispered, almost in-audible.
"W-What? But-but...No!" I stuttered, in shock and not wanting to believe what they were saying, hoping it was some cruel joke, but I could tell from their facial expressions they were being truthful for once. For once, I was speechless, and it wasn't because of something my Seaweed Brain had said.

I was running, thinking up plans to surprise the two brothers at the finish line. When I suddenly heard a deep growl behind me. Spinning around, I uncapped Riptide, holding the blade out in front of me, getting into a defensive stance. After a few moments of dead silence, only the sound of wind rustling the trees above to be heard, a large white-grey wolf emerged from the shrubbery to my right. Instinctively, I slowly turned to face the animal straight on. It was bearing its yellow-brown, deadly sharp K-9's at me, with its gleaming eyes staring straight at mine, as if peering into my soul.
Next thing I know, I'm lying on the ground, the mutt on top of me. It all happened so fast, I was confused to say the least. The wolf then bit me, on my left collar bone, and ran off into the bushes where it came from. What just happened? Was all I could think. Nether the less, I started to walk back to the path, so I could continue racing.
Roughly 5 minutes after the attack, I got unbearable pain in my head, like it was being stabbed, over and over, from the inside going out by a blunt butter knife. It was too much for me to handle, it was even worse than any pain I experienced in Tartarus. That was before the bones started breaking and dislocating themselves. Just to fix in a different position. I passed out in no time due to the sheer amount of pain I was experiencing.
————-TIME SKIP—————
I awoke in a dark cave, on a pile of moist leaves. I was shirtless, and only in boxers. Where are my clothes?!Where am I?! Were the only things I could think of. Not 'What happened?' or anything like that.
After sitting there for 5 minutes, just doing nothing but staring at the cave walls, the wolf that bit me before, just walked in. I was rather confused at first, as this time it wasn't attacking me. But not too soon I realised why, seeing as it then morphed into a human. Thats when it struck me, I was bitten by a werewolf...
A/N: So how was it? Hope it wasn't too confusing.
