"Who are you?! How dare you be so rude to not bow to The King of the Gods! Bow before us Olympians now!" Zeus thundered, already not taking a liking to Percy.
"Why should I bow down to you? You don't deserve my respect, you send your kids out to fight in wars instead of doing it yourself, you make them save your sorry arse's. However, I do bow for Lady Hestia, Lady Hera, and Lord Poseidon, along with Lord Hades." He responded, bowing at the end as he said the three powerful being's names. "By the way, I'm just an old friend..."
"I should just smite you now for beings so disrespectful to such powerful, high ranking Gods and Goddesses!" The angry god yelled, wanting to kill him already for such an attitude. After Percy disappeared, Zeus' rage only got worse as years went on, no-one could calm him down, not even Hera herself who had Zeus wrapped around her finger. It was because Zeus trusted Perseus, that he disliked him going missing so much, he knew a very powerful being had to be hiding the demigod for him to be missing without a trace for so long, especially with all the technology advancements.
"You shall not do such a thing to my son, Zeus." Hestia interrupted, before he could kill the one she had adopted.
"What? But- Who defiled you? Hestia, your oath!" Athena pipped up, before Zeus could kill Hestia for breaking her oath, or the rude demigod in front of the Olympians.
"He is adopted, however he has been blessed by myself, making him a demigod." Hestia replied, as she looked at the fire burning away slowly in the Amphitheatre.
"I think father should smite the boy, see how much he fights back!" Ares interrupted, taking his father's side.
In the midst of all this, Percy was looking around himself at the gathering crowd, trying to find any familiar faces that he helped get to camp. Thats when he saw them, the immortal campers all gathered together talking in hushed tones. 'Most likely talking about me' Percy thought, the one they were told was called 'Canine' and Percy planned to carry on that name, so that they would not find out who he really was. After all, if they found out whom he was, they wouldn't let him leave again and then he would be stuck here just putting everyone in danger due to his other side.
After taking his eyes off of his old friends, he saw a boy he helped, named Lucas keeping his eyes locked on one spot. He looked nervous, so Percy followed his line of sight. There, he saw the Hunters of Artemis. Thalia was still the lieutenant of the hunt, and that made Percy worry a little bit, but they all seemed pretty angry at 'Canine' for escaping them so many times, apart from the ones he helped escape the torture of their old lives that is. Percy looked back at the Gods, avoiding making eye contact with Aphrodite who was still checking him out. He tried to work out what they were doing, but thats when he realised they were arguing over wether or not to kill him, even though he had only been there for 30 minutes. 'Well this is a good start' he thought to himself, trying to think of what he could do to get them to shut up without actually being killed.
"So, hey, the name is Canine. I believe some of your demigods actually know me, though. Oh, Lady Hera, I did that job for you by the way, the package is in the apartment in Washington, D.C." He said, which actually worked with getting them to stop.
"Thanks, I guess you want the usual payment?" She responded, surprising most of their onlookers. Mutters in the crowd increased as this was said.
"Yeah, but might have to post pone it a little bit, that is if what Lady Hestia said was right. It usually is, though."
"That's fine then" Hera replied, looking at Zeus out of the corner of her eyes to watch him blow up.
Zeus turned to look at her, "You know him too?! How? Who is he?!" He practically yelled.
Hera turned to her husband muttering about how crazy he was, when she finally said "Of course I know my champion, and he told you who he is, he is Canine, the adopted son of Hestia, and my champion. Do you have a problem with that?" She asked him, with an edge to her voice.
"Eugh-No, lets just go. Artemis, keep an eye on him, I still don't trust him. Chiron, you can deal with the nuisance now." Zeus ordered and flashed out, followed closely by most of the Olympians who had no reason to stay. Artemis glared at Canine, then walked over to her hunters to get them to settle into her cabin until she wasn't required to keep an eye on him anymore.
Poseidon and Hades both approached the male, "Why did you bow to us, if we may ask?" Poseidon asked, as Hades nodded in agreement.
"Well, I have no reason not to respect you two, the rest I have a reason for, but not you." He answered, truthfully. Hades smiled at him, said his goodbyes and wished good luck then returned to his realm of the underworld, followed closely by Poseidon who went back to his palace in Atlanta.
"Where shall you stay, my boy?" Chiron's voice sounded out once Percy was alone. Hestia answered for him;
"He shall remain in my cabin, as Hera's is bed-less, however he shall eat at Hera's table as mine is a tad too heated from the hearth, but also so that we are sharing him. We have previously spoken about this, Chiron. It is good to see you again though."
"Okay then, good luck... Oh, Lady Hestia it is good to see you again, you too Lady Hera. Well, I must be going, got archery practice to teach now." Chiron said, trotting off through the dispersing crowd.
"Good luck, Canine. I hope you can reunite with your old friends, at some point. We will visit you soon." Lady Hera said, almost whispering the reuniting part, with Lady Hestia nodding along. They then hugged the teen and both flashed off to Olympus, to face Zeus together.
