Douma was taken aback by The Water Pillar's Remark.
Although he knew he was a bit feisty against him, insults like this were a first for him.
"This is the first time I've encountered such an unkind pillar such as yourself." Douma coldly stated.
'Tomioka' turned around to look at the uppermoon, blood still oozing out his flesh at the wound, yet he just looked at the Upper-Moon, disinterest written all over his face. "Shut the fuck up you emotionally retarded Blondie, I'm in the middle of something here." 'Tomioka' snapped back unamused.
"It seems something changed within you, Water Pillar-san~." Douma pointed out, having an amused look return to his face.
"What a miracle we have witnessed here. Douma-chan points out the obvious. Allow me to tell the local newspaper.~"
"Douma-chan?" The multi-color eye'd demon gave his opponent a confused look. "Correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm definitely older than you."
"Oh, you may be older than Tomioka-san here but you're definitely not older than Me." 'Tomioka clarified.
"Who's Tomioka?~" Douma asked with a hint of fake confusion in his tone.
"Oh...OOOHHH..." 'Tomioka' had a sudden snap of realization, "I see, I didn't really introduce myself now did I? My deepest apologies." 'Tomioka' said, not even attempting to hide his sarcasm.
He walked a few feet closer towards Douma allowing the said Demon to see his features more thoroughly.
Before this so-called 'Tomioka' wore a serious and emotionless expression. He has unruly black hair of uneven lengths that sticks up in tufts around his head, which he wears tied back in a low messy ponytail at the base of his neck. His bangs fall over his eyes in an uneven fringe.
But now his hair was in a small and low messy man-bun like hairstyle with most of his uneven length tufts still around his neck. He somehow grew what can only be described as metal piercings on his ears, one small and black dot on his standard lobe and three dark-gray Ear cuffs around the rest of the ear lobe. He also somehow painted his nails to be a dark-black shaded color.
That not even mentioning the fact that as 'Tomioka' came closer towards Douma he could see the wound he'd inflicted on him slowly started regenerating along his uniform as well.
Within the pupil of his blue eyes they somehow read out a kanji.
Douma realized whatever happened to 'Tomioka' was that he must have turned into a demon, which would've explained the kanji. But that's it, it solved the question of 'how did he survive an attack like that to the chest.' but it opens up a whole new load of questions. 'how did he turn into a demon?' 'when?' 'If he's a demon then why does he have a kanji in his eyes?' 'If he's a demon why is he fighting him?' 'Why was a demon in league with the slayers?'
But that wasn't even the most disturbing part of the kanji, Douma read it through.
He thought that maybe, just maybe the lowermoons had been given kanji to their eyes as well. But when he read it through it only confused him more and made him question things further.
神
It was a simple kanji.
A kanji within both pupils of this so-called Tomioka.
Yet, it held so much meaning.
So much Meaning in fact that Douma started to feel something for the first time in hundreds of years. Feelings he didn't understand given it was the first time he felt such a thing.
