All Douma could see was the vivid violet of shinobu's eyes, those beautiful eyes that well with hatred and contempt. He had stared at her in all of her poisonous beauty, not a sound slipping out of his mouth as she held his head in small, soft hands. His heart started to Thump wildly in his non-existent life.

"Shinobu-chan, wanna go on a date with me to hell?" He asked gleefully, though not expecting an agreement.

And he was right.

"After you, you bastard. I would rather eat my own vomit than go on a date with you." Douma almost keened at her breathtaking voice, despite the hurtful words it formed. He should've known that she would never reciprocate his feelings. But she was the first thing that made his heart throb in the entire 120 years of his life.

Shinobu awoke to a crisp autumn night in her room in the butterfly mansion.

Is this the afterlife? I died killing uppermoon 2...

She glanced around, trying to make out what happened, but to no avail. She slapped herself in the face with all her might. It stung. She was alive. She stood up and went to her vanity mirror, taking in her reflection, she realised her bangs hadn't grown out yet. She was 14 years old again.

"What's going on?"

At First Shinobu thought that she was just in a dream, something like this could only happen in fairy tales and novels, but as she started to look around more she started to realize that this was no dream at all.

"It wasn't possible... it was impossible, there was no way I'm in the past!" Shinobu thought. "My haori and my blade... there they were, perfectly fine." She slowly starts to think that she was truly in the past. There was only one way to tell, which was to investigate. She rushed out the balcony and hauled open the door, there stood her crow, it squawked indignantly. She questioned the crow on the date, "Caw- it's Monday XX/XX/XX- agh!" That date made her heart stop.

(Idk the date so...)

"That date... it's a month before Nee-san's death."

And as if on cue someone knocked on her door, "Shinobu-chan, is everything alright in there?" That voice... it brought shinobu both a sense of relief and shock. Her heart ached as tears started to accumulate in her eyes, she quickly wiped away her tears. "I'm fine Nee-san."

"Are you sure?" Her older sister asked in concern, hearing her sister's quiet and faint Sobs.

"Ya, totally!" Shinobu put on her fake cheery smile she always did.

"Then you wouldn't mind letting me in, right?"

"Of course!" Shinobu hurriedly fixed herself before letting Kanae inside. When she opened the door, gradient purple eyes met pale violet. Seeing her sister in person again sent her into a state of shock. Her slender build, her straight, black hair that reached just below her waist, worn down with two shorter clumps over her shoulders, and arched, ear-length bangs on either side of her face.

This was indeed her sister.

Shinobu kept staring up at kanae in disbelief, which concerned her older sister.

"Something wrong shinobu-chan?" Kanae asked.

Though it was only a few words, it struck shinobu like a bolt of lightning. Without thinking she ran up to her sister, beginning to break down in tears.

Kanae was taken aback at first, soon comforting her crying sister, "there it's ok, i'm here for you." Patting shinobu's head in comfort, causing Shinobu to release all the grief she had. She hugged kanae with all her might, fearing if she let go for even a second she'd leave her again.
